The Old Year wanes as a New Year with New Energy has already begun with the Winter Solstice on Dec. 21, even though most of the Earth celebrates the New Year as commencing on January 1. According to Tibetan numerology, and understood intuitively by most humans, all numbers have energy and meaning that impart great potential, currents and probability into our lives, our world. 2017 was a "1" year (2+0+1+7=10,1+0=1) meaning new beginnings and individual journey. How many of you experienced exponential change and new beginnings beyond your wildest imaginings in 2017? How many of you began or deepened your commitment to your own personal journey of awakening? We are building the New Earth, one heart at a time, and the new beginnings start with each and every one of us individually, and then combine for a collective vibration for all of humanity. 2018 is an "11" year (2+0+1+8=11, 11 is a master number that is not reduced). The vibration of "11" is all about awakening and enlightenment. As each of us awakens to our own personal truth and grows in our individual enlightenment, we add this to the collective vibration of humanity and catalyze a very real shift, careening toward the mass awakening of humanity! Yes change comes slowly, but 2018 holds the energy and potential for huge shifts in awareness, amazing solutions to seemingly unsolvable problems, and a quantum leap for all of humanity! For those of us still clinging to old ways, old limitations, old illnesses and old beliefs that no longer serve us, it is now time to release these and all other things that are holding us back, keeping us mired in a denser energy. 2018 will support us in all of this shedding and release. And as with all changes, ask for ease and grace with this transition! Many of our religions, teachers and societies have told us that we must suffer, but that is not true. Awakening is a joyful pursuit, full of the energy of coming home and finally enjoying self as well as universal love and compassion. No one said that it would be easy, but it will definitely be worth it! 2018 should prove to be interesting and enlightening indeed!
For those of us who have been walking this spiritual path for some time, we are finally starting to see real shift in the fabric of humanity which is beginning to be reflected in the greater world around us. For those of you new to this path, welcome and thank you for taking your power! Humans everywhere are waking up, taking their power, realizing that our Earth, our Gaia is out of balance, and taking steps to align with a greater good, a greater truth--one that serves all beings with integrity, love and compassion. We old souls have spent many lifetimes and many millennia in the darkness of the old, dense energy, but we are finally starting to see the fruits of all our labor. The light is bright and beautiful to behold! And it emanates forth from each of us! We are the light! We are the change that is occurring and still to come. Together we birth this New Earth from the ashes of the old. The time we have waited for for eons is here beloveds! It is happening! And each one of you was meant to be here at just this time, for you all have done this before, on other planets, in other star systems. You have trained for just this time! There is no coincidence! And together we are causing a tidal wave of benevolent change within our societies as we create this New Earth! Well done beautiful ones!
Humanity has a multitude of spiritual beings and ascended civilizations assisting with this transition to the New Earth. Remember that universal law prohibits their interference. But when we ask and connect with these beautiful beings, many of them aspects of ourselves in other dimensions and realities, they can they begin to assist in whatever way we wish as long as it is in our greatest good. The veils grow thinner each day, and many are having experiences that they can't explain away, causing them to look deeper, to start searching for what is really happening.
We are in the midst of an ascension on our beloved Earth Dear Ones! And each and every one of you is an integral part of this whole. Beloved masters, are you ready to close the door to the past and step onto the path which will lead you into a magical world of all possibilities? The way has been prepared. All you have to do is agree and the process will be revealed to you one step at a time. We will make it as easy as possible, for you have suffered enough and it is time for ease and grace. A grand alliance is being formed — a reunification of magnificent proportions, as we solidify the process of joining together once more in common purpose — both we of the higher realms and you, the present day Earthly representatives of the Creator. The time of separation is swiftly coming to a close, and paradoxically, those still steeped in the illusion of the Third- / Fourth-Dimensional realms are coming together as well. They have bonded together more and more tightly in their fight to maintain separation through their struggle for dominance and power, fueled by hatred, fear and greed.
Many aeons ago, we made each of you a promise as you went your separate way to fulfill your part of the universal Divine Plan. We promised that we would come together again in a grand reunion when the experiment on planet Earth was drawing to a close. We promised that even though you would forget your origins as part of the experiment, at the appropriate time we would help you to remember. The Memory Seed Atoms within your DNA, your Sacred Heart, and Sacred Mind would be activated; thereby the process of remembering your origins, and reclaiming your Divine heritage would begin. As these events filter into the consciousness of you, the StarSeed Souls, if you hold steady on the Path, you will be able to claim and proceed to embody your new Divine Blueprint, and we will move forward together: side-by-side and heart-to-heart. More and more of you are being nudged in various ways – strong nudgings that cannot be denied. We have been very busy in our attempt to get your attention. We use every means at hand to help you remember. Our endeavors, along with the encoded Memory Seed Atoms that were stored throughout your physical vessel, and which were programmed to be activated during these evolutionary times, make it increasingly difficult for you to ignore this unprecedented wake up call.
We are asking you to make a COMMITMENT. By seeking and agreeing to reunite with the members of your Soul family that you are being guided to, your individual conscious awareness and your group awareness will be expanded by leaps and bounds. Through the dynamics of Group meditation within your group FIFTH-DIMENSIONAL PYRAMID OF POWER, you will be given an opportunity to swiftly become a cocreative master on the material planes of existence, as well as an example to those around you. Most of you who resonate to these messages are well on your way to completing the passage through the Fourth Dimension that opens the gateway to the magical realm of the Fifth Dimension.  2012 was zero point for the activation of the New Earth and the mass ascension of consciousness. It was the balancing point of a 12 year time gate (activation portal). Six years leading up to 2012 and six years after 2012. The six years leading up to 2012 saw a massive increase in lightworkers being awakened and guided to their missions. Many have been called to sacred sites and ancient portals to play their part in the activation of the Christ Consciousness Grid. The Christ Consciousness Grid, also known as the 144 Crystalline Grid, is Gaia’s crystalline energy body, and like our energy bodies it is made up of chakras, ley lines and meridian points.  70 Year Old Prophecy Describes Humanity’s Ascension Peter Konstantinov Deunov, also known as Beinsa Douno, born in 1886 and who later passed away in 1944, left a prophecy that he had obtained through a trance based state. The prophecy was therefore dated as 1944, a few days before his death in December that year. Our solar system is now traversing a region of the Cosmos where a constellation that was destroyed left its mark, its dust. This crossing of a contaminated space is a source of poisoning, not only for the inhabitants of the earth, but for all the inhabitants of the other planets of our galaxy. Only the suns are not affected by the influence of this hostile environment. This region is called “the thirteenth zone”; one also calls it “the zone of contradictions”. Our planet was enclosed in this region for thousands of years, but finally we are approaching the exit of this space of darkness and we are on the point of attaining a more spiritual region, where more evolved beings live.
The earth is now following an ascending movement and everyone should force themselves to harmonize with the currents of the ascension. Those who refuse to subjugate themselves to this orientation will lose the advantage of good conditions that are offered in the future to elevate themselves. They will remain behind in evolution and must wait tens of millions of years for the coming of a new ascending wave.
The earth, the solar system, the universe, all are being put in a new direction under the impulsion of Love. Most of you still consider Love as a derisory force, but in reality, it is the greatest of all forces! Money and power continue to be venerated as if the course of your life depended upon it. In the future, all will be subjugated to Love and all will serve it. But it is through suffering and difficulties that the consciousness of man will be awakened.
The terrible predictions of the prophet Daniel written in the bible relate to the epoch that is opening. There will be floods, hurricanes, gigantic fires and earthquakes that will sweep away everything. Blood will flow in abundance. There will be revolutions; terrible explosions will resound in numerous regions of the earth. There where there is earth, water will come, and there where there is water, earth will come. God is Love; yet we are dealing here with a chastisement, a reply by Nature against the crimes perpetrated by man since the night of time against his Mother; the Earth.
After these sufferings, those that will be saved, the elite, will know the Golden Age, harmony and unlimited beauty. Thus keep your peace and your faith when the time comes for suffering and terror, because it is written that not a hair will fall from the head of the just. Don’t be discouraged, simply follow your work of personal perfection.
Humanity’s Ascension
You have no idea of the grandiose future that awaits you. A New Earth will soon see day. In a few decades the work will be less exacting, and each one will have the time to consecrate spiritual, intellectual and artistic activities. The question of rapport between man and woman will be finally resolved in harmony; each one having the possibility of following their aspirations. The relations of couples will be founded on reciprocal respect and esteem. Humans will voyage through the different planes of space and breakthrough intergalactic space. They will study their functioning and will rapidly be able to know the Divine World, to fusion with the Head of the Universe.
The New Era is that of the sixth race. Your predestination is to prepare yourself for it, to welcome it and to live it. The sixth race will build itself around the idea of Fraternity. There will be no more conflicts of personal interests; the single aspiration of each one will be to conform himself to the Law of Love. The sixth race will be that of Love. A new continent will be formed for it. It will emerge from the Pacific, so that the Most High can finally establish His place on this planet.
The founders of this new civilization, I call them ‘Brothers of Humanity’ or also ‘Children of Love’. They will be unshakeable for the good and they will represent a new type of men. Men will form a family, as a large body, and each people will represent an organ in this body. In the new race, Love will manifest in such a perfect manner, that today’s man can only have a very vague idea.

Humans seeing that there is no other path will engage themselves to the path of the New Life, that of salvation. In their senseless pride, some will, to the end hope to continue on earth a life that the Divine Order condemns, but each one will finish by understanding that the direction of the world doesn’t belong to them.
A new culture will see the light of day, it will rest on three principal foundations: the elevation of woman, the elevation of the meek and humble, and the protection of the rights of man.
The light, the good, and justice will triumph; it is just a question of time. The religions should be purified. Each contains a particle of the Teaching of the Masters of Light, but obscured by the incessant supply of human deviation. All the believers will have to unite and to put themselves in agreement with one principal, that of placing Love as the base of all belief, whatever it may be. Love and Fraternity that is the common base! The earth will soon be swept by extraordinary rapid waves of Cosmic Electricity. A few decades from now beings who are bad and lead others astray will not be able to support their intensity. They will thus be absorbed by Cosmic Fire that will consume the bad that they possess. Then they will repent because it is written that “each flesh shall glorify God”.
Our mother, the earth, will get rid of men that don’t accept the New Life. She will reject them like damaged fruit. They will soon not be able to reincarnate on this planet; criminals included. Only those that possess Love in them will remain.
There is not any place on earth that is not dirtied with human or animal blood; she must therefore submit to a purification. And it is for this that certain continents will be immersed while others will surface. Men do not suspect to what dangers they are menaced by. They continue to pursue futile objectives and to seek pleasure. On the contrary those of the sixth race will be conscious of the dignity of their role and respectful of each one’s liberty. They will nourish themselves exclusively from products of the vegetal realm. Their ideas will have the power to circulate freely as the air and light of our days.
The words “If you are not born again” apply to the sixth race. Read Chapter 60 of Isaiah it relates to the coming of the sixth race, the Race of Love.
After the Tribulations, men will cease to sin and will find again the path of virtue. The climate of our planet will be moderated everywhere and brutal variations will no longer exist. The air will once again become pure, the same for water. The parasites will disappear. Men will remember their previous incarnations and they will feel the pleasure of noticing that they are finally liberated from their previous condition.
In the same manner that one gets rid of the parasites and dead leaves on the vine, so act the evolved Beings to prepare men to serve the God of Love. They give to them good conditions to grow and to develop themselves, and to those that want to listen to them, they say: “Do not be afraid! Still a little more time and everything will be all right; you are on the good path. May he that wants to enter in the New Culture study, consciously work and prepare.”
Thanks to the idea of Fraternity, the earth will become a blessed place, and that will not wait. But before, great sufferings will be sent to awaken the consciousness. Sins accumulated for thousands of years must be redeemed. The ardent wave emanating from On High will contribute in liquidating the karma of peoples. The liberation can no longer be postponed. Humanity must prepare itself for great trials that are inescapable and are coming to bring an end to egoism.
Under the earth, something extraordinary is preparing itself. A revolution that is grandiose and completely inconceivable will manifest itself soon in nature. God has decided to redress the earth, and He will do it! It is the end of an epoch; a new order will substitute the old, an order in which Love will reign
Dark is divine: What colour are Indian gods and goddesses? In India where light skin is coveted, a new campaign is re-imagining popular Hindu gods and goddesses with a darker skin, writes the BBC's Geeta Pandey in Delhi. The desire for fairer skin is not new in India and for centuries, fair complexion has been considered superior. Fairness creams are among the highest selling cosmetic products in the country and top Bollywood actors and actresses regularly appear in commercials endorsing fairness products. In recent years, creams and gels have been introduced which claim to lighten armpit hair and even female genitals, and advertisements encourage customers to believe that lighter skin tones would help them improve their lives by getting a better job or win them love. In the past few years, there have been campaigns such as Dark is Beautiful and #unfairandlovely, calling on people to celebrate dark skin. Yet, the unhealthy obsession with light skin has continued and, as ad filmmaker Bharadwaj Sundar says, it's not just limited to earthly beings, it includes the divine too. "All the images of the popular gods and goddesses that we see around us, photographs in our home shrines or prayer halls, online, on calendars, stickers and posters in shops and pasted behind auto-rickshaws, all show them to be light-skinned." In a culture obsessed with fairness, Mr Sundar points out that even Krishna, who is described as a dark-skinned god in the scriptures, is often shown as fair. And so is the elephant-headed Ganesha, even though there are no white elephants in India. They recruited "dusky" male and female models, dressed them up as gods and goddesses and shot the campaign images over two days in December and the result is quite stunning. Model Suruthi Periyasamy told the BBC that she had to face too many rejections in the past "because no-one wanted a dusky model" and that she was "thrilled" when she was chosen to portray Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth. "Lakshmi is the most popular goddess in India, everyone wants a daughter-in-law like her because she brings prosperity so I feel so blessed to be her." Ms Periyasamy says everyone talks about working with dark-skinned models, but no-one really encourages them. She says she hopes that this campaign will "change the minds of some people to allow us to shine in life". Since the campaign was launched last month, Mr Sundar says they have received lots of calls and the responses have been largely positive, though some people have accused them of unfair biases, pointing out that goddess Kali is always portrayed as black. Angelina Jolie is passing on her passion for humanitarian work to the next generation of her family.
The actress was joined by daughters Zahara, 13, and Shiloh, 11, during a UNHCR trip to the Zataari refugee camp in Jordan on Sunday. There, they met with Syrians who fled the violence of the ongoing civil war in the country, including girls around Jolie’s daughters’ ages who were part of the TIGER (These Inspiring Girls Enjoy Reading) project, which focuses on education and empowerment even in displacement.
The trip was Shiloh’s third visit to a refugee camp and the first for Zahara.
One girl told Jolie and her daughters, “We believe if the adults can make peace now, we young women will build on that peace and help.”
The project, in partnership with International Relief and Development, is designed to fight the epidemic of refugees dropping out of school, with only 20 percent completing a secondary school education. TIGER works with Syrian female coaches to help the girls build confidence.
 
Girls at the Zataari refugee camp wrote their dreams on small pieces of paper, which they put in balloons and released. One said, “I want to be one of the balloons outside of the box.”
Jolie, 42, spoke to the refugees about how they inspired her and gave her hope.
“After seven years of war, most Syrian refugees have exhausted any savings they had. The vast majority of them already live below the poverty line, on less than three dollars a day. Imagine what that would mean for your family,” she said in a speech. “Here, it means families going without sufficient food; children unable to get medical treatment; young girls vulnerable to early marriage; and many Syrians facing their seventh winter without proper shelter.”
The actress added, “Humanitarian aid is not a long-term solution. And to be clear, no one wants to get off aid relief more than Syrian families.”

“For such an educated, capable people, it is soul-destroying to be made this dependent. So I would urge the Security Council members to come to the region, to visit the camps and the urban refugees, and find a way to finally bring the full weight of the UN and international community to bear to solve this conflict.”
Jolie’s daughters asked to join her on the trip. Their siblings, 9-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox, stayed in France with their big brothers, Maddox, 16, and Pax, 14.They will spend time in Europe together when Jolie, Zahara and Shiloh return from Jordan.

Beloved masters, there is a great stirring taking place among the masses — those who, until now, were not ready to listen to the inner nudgings of Spirit or to delve into the mysteries of creation. The frequency patterns of the new Divine Blueprint are beginning to flow into your awareness on the currents of change. We have said that you were very brave to step out of your comfort zone, out of the mass consciousness flow of popular beliefs and into the uncertainty of untried territory. You have been willing to face up to the challenges, and to not be deterred by those who said you were wrong, evil, or called you “wishful-thinkers.” You are proving that what you have accepted as your truth is indeed working, and the validation is concrete and visible for all to see so that there can be no dispute. Fear is the greatest deterrent to change, but you have tamed your fears, and more and more of you are stepping forth into your power.
Each time you visit your Fifth-Dimensional Pyramid of Power/Light, you become more adept at tapping into and using the gifts of Creation. You gradually bring back more and more of the rarified, unmanifested Adamantine Particles of Creator Light to infuse, integrate and share. See these streams of Light spiraling down into the physical realms of expression, as they gradually become tangible and take form under your direction via your visions, dreams and clear intention. Many of you have learned the discipline necessary to hold your visions without wavering, and you are learning that the miracles of manifestation take place one clear thought, one step or action, and one day at a time. There are no shortcuts, beloveds; you must follow the Universal Laws of Manifestation in order to harness the power of Creation.
No matter where you are on the Path of en-Lighten-ment, if you are reading our messages, and you are doing your best to claim your Self-mastery, there is a place for you among the new Legions of Light that are being formed around the world. As you become proficient at accessing the power and majesty of the higher Dimensions, and you begin to get a glimpse of how wondrous the material planes of existence can be, the excitement begins to build. That is what is happening all over the world. It is a very personal experience, for even though you may have much confusion, turmoil and chaos around you, you are learning to stay centered within a hologram of harmonious co-existence and joy. As time goes by, you will find that your center of serenity will extend further and further outward. And as more of you begin to tap into the eternal power of the higher planes of consciousness, it will spread faster and faster. Never doubt, dear ones, it will ultimately encompass the world, for it is an integral part of the future of humanity and the Earth.
One of the major areas of physical interaction that must be explained so that you may come to a greater understanding, is the balance of the male/female energies within each of you. The battle of the sexes began aeons ago, as some of the unique energies of the Lemurian Race and the Atlantean Race began to merge. The Lemurian race was OverLighted by the energy of the beloved Mother Goddess. She focused on the integration of the Love/emotional nature within the physical vessel − along with the desire to create on the physical plane, and to nurture and assist the new Spirits arriving on Earth. Last but not least, was to establish each Soul’s intuitive mind connection with Spirit via the Creative Cord of Life/Light. This was the dominating focus of the Divine Blueprint for humanity at that time. You were like joyous, exuberant, curious children, for this was a grand new experience for all of you.
Midway through the Age of Lemuria, the Golden Age of Atlantis began to emerge, and for this cycle, the dynamic energies of the Father God were the dominant force on Earth. Powerful masculine energies came to the fore, as humanity learned to use their minds to control the energies of the First Ray and to become masters of cocreation on the earthly plane. You added the mental body components as you became more proficient in developing and using your physical senses, as well as your spiritual senses, or what you now call extrasensory perception. As the energies of polarity and duality began to emerge, a division in consciousness also came into play. Some perceived the masculine traits and attributes to be superior, and others favored the gentler feminine virtues. Gradually the battle of the sexes began, and you began to mistrust the opposite sex more and more because of the many painful memories you experienced over your many lifetimes.
Dear hearts, you are a composite of all your vast past experiences and memories. You have had many lifetimes as a female where you were abused or mistreated by men. There have also been many lifetimes in the male body where you suffered the loss of your beloved mate, you were betrayed, or you did not measure up in some way. All those conflicting energies − encoded in Memory Seed Atoms within your auric field, your brain structure and your DNA − will color your outlook on the opposite sex – that is, until you resolve and transmute them.
You eventually separated into two Sub-Rays, one representing our Father God, and the other a representing our Mother God. You have divided and separated into many Facets / Fragments of consciousness since, but you have forever yearned and sought your wholeness or “Holiness.” At the core of your Being, what you are really seeking is the reunification with the other half of your perfect God Spark of Creation that was sent forth into conscious awareness.
How can you accomplish the healing and reunification of these two primary Facets of yourself? First, by developing a balanced sense of Self-worth and Self-love. You will begin to radiate the higher vibratory energy outward from your auric force field, and those with whom you come in contact will respond in kind. Learn to trust yourself and your intuition so that you may trust others. You will never feel alone when you learn that you have a mighty force of angels ever near you: ready to protect, encourage, love, and support you every moment of the day or night. Release the pain of the past by forgiving yourself and all others.
Go into your Sacred Pyramid, and envision all the players in your many dramas of life there with you. Ask that all the imbalanced energies, painful distorted memories, and hurtful interactions be dissolved in the fountain of the wondrous neutralizing Violet Flame of Transformation. Watch as the electrifying waves of Creator Light permeate your Being to its depths, gradually returning you to a perfect balance of godly virtues, both masculine and feminine in nature. Then see all those major players from your past healed and brought into harmony, as well. Watch as they merge and blend with you as you all become a unified, balanced whole. If you do this, the lessons you were to learn from these interactions will be deemed successful. You will change all the probable futures you have created with these past Soul companions, and you will not have to play out the scenarios in the old karmic way of cause and effect interaction.
Are you ready to assume the many cloaks of empowerment and godliness – that of being a nurturing mother and/or a strong father figure, the playful child, a comforting Soul mate, or a faithful friend? Your relationships are changing; your Soul families are growing, and encompassing hundreds, even thousands, instead of focusing only on your physical family, thereby limiting your love to the few.
You are moving toward a higher vibration of love, that which incorporates “Spirit/Soul love” as well as human “heart love.” You will have to confront your fears of intimacy, and open your heart to give and receive the deepest, most profound human love possible. You must open your total Being to love — love from the Creator Source down to the least of God’s creations. How can you begin the process of reunification without love, one for another?
There will still be those who come into your life with whom you do not resonate, and that will be so as long as you are in the physical vessel. If you can maintain an attitude of nonjudgment, and radiate love to the Essence of each person, you will not have to experience a karmic dance or interaction with them. Bless them and allow them to follow their Path, while you follow your own.
It is time for humanity to remove the etheric shields of protection they have placed over their heart/solar plexus centers so that they cannot be hurt or unduly influenced. Removing the protective membrane of Light, which guards your Sacred Heart, will allow the Love/Light of our Father/Mother to flow freely both into and then outward from your Sacred Heart Center.
Dear hearts, there is another important concept that we wish to present to you. In doing so, we know that it will trigger fear and doubt for many of you. If this is the case, we ask you to set the information to the side, and ask that it be validated if it is to be your truth, or if it is too uncomfortable, to just disregard it. There is much information coming forth that will challenge the old concepts and thought forms of the past. Just as children learn the simple basic concepts in their early years, and the lessons and theories become more complex and thought-provoking as they mature – this applies to your spiritual education and growth as well.
We have told you that the Supreme Creator has begun to emanate new rarified Love/Light Essence from the core of Its Being. It contains all the Facets of Creation, which include White Fire Seed Atoms (energy components) of never before experienced new creations. Within the wondrous multiple beams of Creator Light is a black Ray of pure unmanifested potential. The Creator is sending this Ray as a gift to all of you — it contains the stillness of the Great Void. It is accessible to all who are brave enough to tap into it, and to use some of your reserve of Adamantine Particles of Light to help mold and recreate the beauty and majesty of Gaia – your host planet. First came the Void, and then came the Light, and within the Light are all good and wondrous things; however, the Light would not shine so brightly without the darkness.
Many of you fear the darkness and your shadow side, perceiving them as evil. All is a part of the ONE, the Creator. There is nothing to fear. You, as human Beings, have created many things to fear, but that is not the Creator’s doing. Do you fear the great void that is the backdrop for the stars and constellations? Some of you fear the night, yet it is not the darkness that you can lay the blame on, but the hurtful things that humans do under the cover of darkness. We wish to help you to begin to investigate and transmute those old self-limiting concepts so you may broaden your horizons and assume your cloak of Light. With the gift of Light comes a great responsibility — the leadership role that we mentioned earlier.
We ask you to LIVE your lives with a heightened sense of awareness; to FEEL the joy of being connected to All That Is, and then to share the joy with others; to use your WILL power to move swiftly along the path of enlightenment, so as you gain a higher vantage point, you can more easily assist others over the rough spots: to LOVE others with all your heart and Soul, as the Creator loves you; to SPEAK your highest truth with love, compassion, and discernment; to SEE the best in everyone; and to know that we are all a part of the same great I AM.
Precious friends, we began and we will complete this particular Divine Mission together so that you may join us in the next great “Cosmic Adventure” that our Father/Mother God have planned. Recently rediscovered 100-year-old posters showing the struggle for votes for women are going on show for the first time. They pull no punches in their depiction of the strength of feeling among the women who fought for equal rights.
Addressed simply to "the Librarian", a bundle wrapped in plain brown paper was delivered to Cambridge University Library sometime around 1910, and it took over 100 years for the contents of the parcel to be rediscovered, in 2016, preserved in their original wrapping.
Underneath the faded paper was one of the largest surviving collections of suffrage posters from the early 20th Century.
They had been sent by a leading figure of the suffrage movement, Marion Phillips, who became Labour MP for Sunderland in 1929.

It is unclear why Phillips sent the posters.
"They were created to be plastered on walls, torn down by weather or political opponents," says Chris Burgess, exhibitions officer at the library. "So it is highly unusual for this material to be safely stored."
The posters are going on show to mark the centenary of the 1918 Representation of the People Act, which gave the vote to women over the age of 30.
Because of Cambridge's prestigious university, local suffrage posters often featured women in academic dress.
Artists observed that the city's educated women were still grouped - in the eyes of the law - with the likes of convicts and lunatics.
Although Cambridge's women-only colleges such as Girton and Newnham had very active suffrage societies, the university itself was far from progressive.
By the end of the 19th Century, women were allowed to study at the university but were not given full degrees at the end of their studies. When an 1897 vote proposed to change this, there was outrage.
An effigy of a lady cyclist - a symbol of the new woman - was torn down and destroyed to the delight of the jeering crowds of male students.

Posters also tried to appeal to working-class women, such as those working in textile factories or at home as seamstresses.
Some pointed out that these women were not even able to vote on laws that concerned women's regulations and rights.
This meant men were voting on what they believed to be best for women.
Lucy Delap, a historian specialising in this period, says most people in the UK were against women getting the vote.
As a result, "the suffrage movement definitely had to reach out to many women".
"Campaigning went far beyond the simple equality message - to point out how the vote could make a difference in households, at work, on the streets - matters that concerned all women," she says.
Print production was central to the suffrage campaigns.
"People would be cranking out handbills to be distributed the same day through networks of sash-wearing volunteers, or printing posters advertising meetings taking place that same evening," says Ms Delap.

To appeal to the widest audience, Ms Delap says, the suffrage posters took inspiration from the tabloids, using eye-catching headlines, large cartoons and photographs.
And the suffragists were media-savvy political campaigners - reacting to the policies of the day.
In 1909, there was a national outcry when Home Secretary Herbert Gladstone ordered that imprisoned protestors on hunger strike should be force-fed.

John Bull - a fictional figure commonly used to personify the UK, and England in particular - is depicted in the image above.
Without the help of a woman, he is struggling alone with children and housework, visual metaphors for the social problems of the Edwardian era.
This poster suggests if women could vote, then problems including infant mortality, poor schooling and unemployment might more easily be solved for the benefit of everyone.
"Handicapped" was one of the most popular posters of the suffrage campaign, painted by Bloomsbury Group artist Duncan Grant.
It shows a young privileged man being easily propelled forwards by votes, while a woman struggles on choppier waters in a simple row boat.

She was usually seen trying to stem progress with her mop.
In this case, she is trying to stop the seeming flood of support for women's votes.
The poster below called for support for political organisations - listed on the children's bibs - to be withdrawn until women were able to participate at the ballot box.

Some posters explicitly call for "law-abiding" meetings. Ms Delap says the movement was split over whether more violent action was needed.
"There were militants who were willing to break the law: smashing windows, destroying golf courses, burning buildings," she says.
"There were also non-violent actions that broke the law - refusing to fill in the census, refusing to pay tax without representation - a range of creative tactics.
"But just to stand on a box in the marketplace, as many women did, provoked public fury, peltings with rotten vegetables and even police brutality.
"To be a female suffrage activist of any kind was a militant act."
