The Lord says that He incarnates Himself in every millennium. This indicates that he incarnates in the age of Kali. ( Today, August 28, 2022- Kali Yuga) As stated in the Srimad Bhagavatan, the incarnation of Lord Krsna in the age of Kali is Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu who spread the worship of Krsna by the Sankirtana movement and spread Krsna Consciousness throughout India. He predicted that this culture of Sankirtana would be broadcast all over the world from town to town and village to village. Lord Caitanya as the incarnation of Krsna, the personality of godhead, is described secretly but not directly in the confidential parts of reveal scriptures, such as the Upanishads, Mahabharata and Bhagavatan. The devotees of Lord Krsna are very much attracted by the Sankirtana movement of lord Caitanya. This avatara of the lord does not kill the miscreants, but delivers them by His Causeless Mercy

GLORIA a Śrīla Prabhupāda!
GLORIA a Madre Yadurani!
Pido a todos oremos a Dios para que ella esté siempre al amparo de Él.
Oro a Dios para cuidar más, desde ahora y en vida, a mí familia, parientes, amigos y seres con los que camino, porque después se irán.
"....Everyone has got some scripture. The Hindus, they have got Vedic scripture. The Muslims, they have got Koran. The Christians, they have got Bible, Old Testament, New Testament. Similarly, there are many other religious sects, they have got their own scripture. So Baladeva Vidyabhusana says that vedoktasya dharmasya. Dharma means the rules and regulations as they are prescribed in the scriptures.
Just like state laws. State laws, there are some rules and regulation in the lawbook, in the statute book of the particular state. Similarly, dharma, another meaning of dharma is, it is the law of God. Maybe differently described in different countries according to different climatic condition or situation. But in every religious scripture the obedience to God is instructed. That is a fact. No scripture says that there is no God and you are independent. "

Ruth Bader Ginsburg was an associate justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, the second woman and the first Jewish woman appointed to the court in U.S. history.
- Died: Friday, September 18, 2020.
- Details of death: Died at home in Washington, D.C., of complications from metastatic pancreatic cancer at the age of 87. A private interment service will be held at Arlington National Cemetery.
Supreme Court tenure
Nominated to the Supreme Court by President Bill Clinton in 1993, Ginsburg was noted for her liberal dissents and her longevity on the court. Among Ginsberg’s notable rulings were United States v. Virginia (1996), in which Ginsburg wrote the majority opinion stating that the Virginia Military Institute’s all-male admissions policy was unconstitutional; Bush v. Gore (2000,) in which she dissented from the court’s decision to end the presidential election recount; and Obergefell v. Hodges (2015), in which she made decisive arguments that led to the court’s granting of marriage rights to same-sex couples.
Fighting for women’s rights
One of the primary aims of Ginsburg’s career was advancing women’s rights. One of only nine women in a law school class of about 500, Ginsburg had to fight for respect and status as a young woman lawyer. She went on to co-found the first U.S. law journal to focus on women’s rights, as well as co-founding the Women’s Rights Project at the American Civil Liberties Union. Prior to her appointment as judge, she argued several cases that advanced women’s rights, including Reed v. Reed (1971), which extended the Fourteenth Amendment’s Equal Protection Clause to apply to woman as well as men.
U.S. Court of Appeals
Before her appointment to the Supreme Court, Ginsburg served as a federal judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals, to which she was nominated by President Jimmy Carter in 1980. While serving there, she gained a reputation as a moderate judge, which held true through the time of her confirmation to the Supreme Court 13 years later. It was only in later years that she became known as a staunch member of the court’s liberal wing.
Cancer fights
Ginsburg fought cancer several times after her appointment to the Supreme Court. The first was in 1999, when she underwent surgery for colon cancer, followed by chemotherapy and radiation, without missing a single day on the bench. This was followed by pancreatic cancer in 2009 and lung cancer in 2018. Ginsburg briefly missed oral arguments in in 2019 for the first time while recovering from her left-lung lobectomy, though she remained determined not to step down from the bench while she still had the mental faculties to serve. In July 2020, Ginsburg announced she was undergoing chemotherapy for a recurrence of cancer.
The Notorious R.B.G.
Ginsburg became a towering figure of the political left in later years, elevated to pop culture stardom and referred to as “The Notorious R.B.G.,” a moniker lifted from rapper The Notorious B.I.G. She was beloved for her fiery devotion to human rights, the subject of documentary “RBG” and feature film “On the Basis of Sex.” Devotees also loved Ginsburg for her signature style of a wide variety of decorative collars worn with her judicial robes. She collected collars from around the world and had a favorite to wear when issuing a majority opinion and another for a dissent, which made her views crystal clear before she ever uttered a word.
Ginsburg on gender equality
“[W]hen I’m sometimes asked when there will be enough [women on the Supreme Court] and I say ‘When there are nine,’ people are shocked. But there’d been nine men, and nobody’s ever raised a question about that.” —from a speech at the 10th Circuit Bench & Bar Conference in 2012
Tributes to Justice Ginsburg
“Our Nation has lost a jurist of historic stature. We at the Supreme Court have lost a cherished colleague. Today we mourn, but with confidence that future generations will remember Ruth Bader Ginsburg as we knew her — a tireless and resolute champion of justice.” —Supreme Court Chief Justice John G. Roberts, in a statement

They are over half of all refugees, and the vast majority of the victims of rape and other sexual and gender-based violence.”Jolie highlighted the importance of protection of civilians and called upon member states to increase the participation of women in peacekeeping operations. She said, “fearing abuse at the hands of a peacekeeper is not protection. Living with the fear your daughter might be raped by armed combatants, is not safety. Knowing that if your children are harmed, no one will be held accountable, is not a basis for peace and security. Denying half a population representation in peace negotiations or in government is not the route to long-term stability.”Jolie told government ministers from around the world gathered at the General Assembly Hall that “women are already contributing to peace in theatres of war across the world without recognition or glory, because it comes naturally to them. It’s important to them.”She said, “think how much more we could achieve with women’s equal participation in all aspects of society: not at the expense of men, but alongside men. Because we are all partners in this life.”It provides an opportunity for delegates to collectively generate the specialized capabilities necessary for contemporary United Nations peacekeeping as requested in the United Nations Peacekeeping Uniformed Capability Requirements Paper, with a specific focus on increasing the role of women in peacekeeping. The meeting, UN Peacekeeping Ministerial: Uniformed capabilities, performance and protection, aims to reaffirm member states’ commitment to UN Peacekeeping and discuss concrete ways to work towards strengthening performance and protecting civilians in the coming year.

"And at that time there will be no hunger or war, no jealousy or rivalry. For the good will be plentiful, and all delicacies available as dust. The entire occupation of the world will be only to know God... the people Israel will be of great wisdom; they will perceive the esoteric truths and comprehend their Creator's wisdom as is the capacity of man. As it is written (Isaiah 11:9): "For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of God, as the waters cover the sea."

When Religion Becomes an Excuse to Discriminate
This week the Movement Advancement Project launched an ad campaign with a video that shows a widow being denied a funeral service for her deceased wife. I wish this were a purely hypothetical example of the dangers of so-called religious exemption laws and policies, but it was all too real for Jack Zawadski.Jack and his late husband, Bob, were partners for over half a century. As Bob’s health deteriorated, Jack’s nephew prearranged funeral services to minimize the stress on Jack. But when the hour of Jack’s heart-wrenching loss arrived, the funeral home refused to take Bob’s body. Upon learning that Bob and Jack were married, objecting funeral home staff told Bob’s nursing home that it went against her beliefs as a Christian. In another example of devastating discrimination, a faith-based child welfare agency denied a lesbian couple in Texas the opportunity to foster a refugee child, potentially depriving a child of a loving home. Fatma Marouf and Bryn Esplin are an interfaith couple who both teach at Texas A&M University, where Fatma serves as director of the university’s immigration rights clinic. A federally funded refugee program affiliated with the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops invited Fatma to visit and learn about the program’s work with unaccompanied refugee children. Seeing these children in urgent need led the couple to decide to foster one themselves. But early in the application process, to their shock and dismay, they were told they were ineligible because their family structure does not “mirror the Holy Family.”Some might think Fatma and Bryn’s experience was a fluke. But the sad reality is that anti-LGBT discrimination happens all the time.Despite marriage equality and other advances in LGBT civil rights, calls for help to Lambda Legal show this discrimination remains widespread. Lambda Legal and Family Equality Council recently reviewed more than 1,000 reports of mistreatment in public accommodations alone, and the results are troubling.LGBT people in southern states and northern ones, in big cities and small towns, shared stories of humiliation, trauma, and abuse. They described refusals of service in bakeries and hotel lobbies, in doctors’ offices and public transportation. Sometimes the refusals caused disruption and increased costs; sometimes they happened in critical moments when no other options were available.Often the rejection happened without warning — in an ordinary instant of an average day — blindsiding its targets, who were at a post office, an accountant’s office, or a barber shop. For others, vicious harassment forced them to seek help from law enforcement or to seek new housing. No matter who the target is and no matter the specifics of the refusal, the emotional impact is real and often searing: LGBT people learn to live defensively, always on guard against another humiliating, ostracizing incident. After experiencing such discrimination, most people who have been targeted will suffer both immediate and lasting harms. As Jack was mourning the loss of his beloved partner of many decades, as Fatma and Bryn were planning their future family together, they were abruptly and completely rejected as equals by people operating a business or social services agency. As a society, we have learned repeatedly that no one should be turned away from public services just because of who they are. And we have learned that public rejections — from humiliating harassment to outright service denials — inflict lasting damage both to those treated as “less than” and to our fractured society. It’s bad enough that anti-LGBT discrimination still happens all the time. But with the push for religious exemption laws, policies, and court cases, it threatens to get worse. As Jack’s, Bryn’s, and Fatma’s stories illustrate, our cherished right of religious liberty is being turned into a tool for discrimination. Opponents of equality for LGBT people, women, and vulnerable others are seeking to exempt themselves from rules intended to ensure safety and fairness for everyone. We have seen too much of this before. Some defenders of religious exemptions point to the Masterpiece Cakeshop case currently before the Supreme Court, arguing that no real harm is being done because it’s “just a cake.” But the commercial bakery that casts itself as a victim because it’s expected to serve all customers equally shows the anti-LGBT prejudice still poisoning our society. Whether cake or lodging or medical care, making any targeted group into pariahs is traumatizing, and deadly serious business.Opponents of LGBT equality have been preparing for years to deploy religion claims to thwart our progress toward full equality. But in the past year, they have found a powerful new accomplice in the Trump administration. Last month, with the creation of the new Conscience and Religious Freedom unit in the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Civil Rights, the federal government switched focus from protecting patients to prioritizing the “religious or moral” objections of health care workers over medical standards and patients’ needs. We’ve entered an alarming era that’s not just topsy-turvy but dangerous. The thousands of reports of refusals and harm that LGBT people already have shared with us are real and urgent warnings that we must not allow this to become a new normal.JENNIFER C. Shallom, Nest Pas!to the plant kingdom thank you!to the animal kingdom thank you!to the mineral kingdom thank you!to the human kingdom thank you!to the star nations thank you!to all of my relations thank you kikirikikiIn 1964, I was a little girl sitting on the linoleum floor of my mother’s house in Milwaukee watching Anne Bancroft present the Oscar for Best Actor at the 36th Academy Awards. She opened the envelope and said five words that literally made history: “The winner is Sidney Poitier.” Up to the stage came the most elegant man I had ever seen. I remember his tie was white, and of course his skin was black—and I’d never seen a black man being celebrated like that. And I tried have tried many, many, many times to explain what a moment like that means to a little girl, a kid watching from the cheap seats as my mom came through the door bone tired from cleaning other people’s houses. But all I can do is quote and say that the explanation in Sidney’s performance in Lilies of the Field: “Amen, amen, amen, amen.”In 1982, Sidney received the Cecil B. DeMille award right here at the Golden Globes and it is not lost on me that at this moment, there are some little girls watching as I become the first black woman to be given this same award. It is an honor—it is an honor and it is a privilege to share the evening with all of them and also with the incredible men and women who’ve inspired me, who’ve challenged me, who’ve sustained me and made my journey to this stage possible. Dennis Swanson who took a chance on me for A.M. Chicago. Quincy Jones who saw me on that show and said to Steven Spielberg, “Yes, she is Sophia in The Color Purple.” Gayle, who’s been the definition of what a friend is and Stedman, who’s been my rock. Just a few to name.RELATED STORYLaurie Metcalf, Greta Gerwig, and Saoirse Ronan pose backstage with their Best Motion Picture: Musical or Comedy award for 'Lady Bird.'.Three Billboards and Lady Bird Win the Golden Globes on a Charged NightI’d like to thank the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, because we all know the press is under siege these days. But we also know that it is the insatiable dedication to uncovering the absolute truth that keeps us from turning a blind eye to corruption and to injustice. To—to tyrants and victims and secrets and lies. I want to say that I value the press more than ever before as we try to navigate these complicated times, which brings me to this: What I know for sure is that speaking your truth is the most powerful tool we all have. And I’m especially proud and inspired by all the women who have felt strong enough and empowered enough to speak up and share their personal stories. Each of us in this room are celebrated because of the stories that we tell, and this year, we became the story. But it’s not just a story affecting the entertainment industry. It’s one that transcends any culture, geography, race, religion, politics, or workplace. So I want tonight to express gratitude to all the women who have endured years of abuse and assault because they, like my mother, had children to feed and bills to pay and dreams to pursue. They’re the women whose names we’ll never know. They are domestic workers and farm workers. They are working in factories and they work in restaurants and they’re in academia and engineering and medicine and science. They’re part of the world of tech and politics and business. They’re our athletes in the Olympics and they’re our soldiers in the military. And there’s someone else, Recy Taylor, a name I know and I think you should know, too. In 1944, Recy Taylor was a young wife and a mother. She was just walking home from a church service she’d attended in Abbeville, Alabama, when she was abducted by six armed white men, raped, and left blindfolded by the side of the road coming home from church. They threatened to kill her if she ever told anyone, but her story was reported to the NAACP where a young worker by the name of Rosa Parks became the lead investigator on her case and together they sought justice. But justice wasn’t an option in the era of Jim Crow. The men who tried to destroy her were never persecuted. Recy Taylor died 10 days ago, just shy of her 98th birthday. She lived as we all have lived, too many years in a culture broken by brutally powerful men. For too long, women have not been heard or believed if they dared to speak their truth to the power of those men. But their time is up. Their time is up.Their time is up. And I just hope—I just hope that Recy Taylor died knowing that her truth, like the truth of so many other women who were tormented in those years, and even now tormented, goes marching on. It was somewhere in Rosa Parks’s heart almost 11 years later, when she made the decision to stay seated on that bus in Montgomery, and it’s here with every woman who chooses to say, “Me too.” And every man—every man who chooses to listen. In my career, what I’ve always tried my best to do, whether on television or through film, is to say something about how men and women really behave. To say how we experience shame, how we love and how we rage, how we fail, how we retreat, persevere, and how we overcome. And I’ve interviewed and portrayed people who’ve withstood some of the ugliest things life can throw at you, but the one quality all of them seem to share is an ability to maintain hope for a brighter morning, even during our darkest nights. So I want all the girls watching here and now to know that a new day is on the horizon! And when that new day finally dawns, it will be because of a lot of magnificent women, many of whom are right here in this room tonight, and some pretty phenomenal men, fighting hard to make sure that they become the leaders who take us to the time when nobody ever has to say “me too” again. Thank you.(Trasnscript of Oprah Winfrey's speech at the Golden Globes 2018)

Nicely done A+16 Iconic Same-Sex Couples Throughout HistoryBy Ariel Sobelsource: advocate.com gay newsWherever and whenever LGBT people have lived, they have loved.Whether they found romance in ancient Egypt or a 1920s salon, the history of queer people and their lovers is rich with devotion, betrayal, and activism. Throughout history, same-sex couples have managed to fall in and out of love just as clumsily as anyone else. For every vintage-obsessed queer person in 2018 who wishes they were in a 1920s romance (with today's freedoms, of course) here are 16 historical same-sex couples you should have known about yesterday.Virginia Woolf and Vita Sackville-WestWho's afraid of Virginia Woolf? Not Vita. The ladies men at a 1920s dinner party where Woolf offered to publish a book Vita had been working on with her husband a few years earlier. Relating to each other over their emotionally absent parents, they became confidants and lovers from then on. Together, the two flourished creatively. During their 10-year relationship, West inspired the gender-shifting protagonist of Woolf's Orlando: A Biography. Woolf, who had been abused by her stepbrother, opened up about it to West, and with her, Woolf was for the first time in her life able to have a satisfying sexual relationship.Their affair ended in the late 1920s on respectful terms, and they remained close friends.Their husbands also showed a high level of respect. Although both ladies' spouses knew about the affair, they never did anything about it. West and her husband had an open marriage, while Virginia's husband wanted his wife to be happy.Khnumhotep and NiankhkhnumTheir love certainly stood the test of time — ancient times, to be exact. The two were servants who lived in Egypt around 2400 BC. Manicurists to the royal court who waited upon the pharaoh himself, Khnumhotep and Niankhkhnum were found buried together in the tomb of King Unas. How do we know they were lovers? Their bodies were intertwined and their faces were nose-to-nose, a tradition that marked the dead as married couples. When their tomb was discovered in 1964, they were reported to be twins. But in the late 1990s, Egyptologist Greg Reeder became convinced they were lovers. On the tomb, Niankhkhnum’s wife was depicted in a banquet scene, her face obscured. Khnumhotep occupies the place that denotes a wife in many of the scenes.Egyptologists believe that Khnumhotep and Niankhkhnum’s names were strung together in a way that means “joined in life and death.”Gertrude Stein and Alice B. ToklasLesbian icon and pioneering writer Gertrude Stein found true love in Toklas, with whom she shared a life for nearly 40 years. They met in Paris, sharing creative ideas in a salon that welcomed Picasso, Matisse, and Ernest Hemingway.Although it was the 1920s, the couple celebrated their love in public. But some secrets of their partnership remained private until the 1980s when Yale University opened a locked cabinet when held hundreds of love letters between the two."Because I didn’t say good night and I miss it so, please know now how much I love you,” Stein wrote to Toklas in one of the discovered pages.Ethel Collins Dunham and Martha May EliotTwo doctors who got their medical degrees together from Johns Hopkins, these women were ambitious and delicious.Martha May Eliot met Ethel Collins Dunham while they were students at Bryn Mawr College, where they decided to attend medical school together in 1914 and forever stay by each other's side. Though they were both active in fighting for women's right to vote, their ambitions to medicine separated them until they were both invited to the brand-new pediatrics department at Yale. Both pioneers in their own right, they changed the role of women in children's medicine forever. During the Great Depression, Eliot was an architect of the New Deal's programs regarding maternal and child health, and later she was named chief of the Children's Bureau, a federal health agency, by President Truman. Dunham focused on caring for premature babies and newborns, establishing the national standards for how hospitals care for babies. She became one of the first female professors at Yale's School of Medicine, while her partner was the first female member of the American Pediatric Society and the first woman to become president of the American Public Health Association. In 1957 the American Pediatric Society awarded Dunham its highest honor, the John Howland Award. She was the first woman to receive the honor. Eliot was the second.Lili Elbe and Gerda GottliebIf you've seen The Danish Girl, you've probably already cried over the romance between these two early-20th-century artists, however, the movie omits that both Elbe and Gottlieb identified as LGBT.Lili, born Einar Magnus Andreas Wegener, met Gerda at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen and married in 1904. Elbe specialized in painted landscapes while Gottlieb illustrated books and fashion magazines. After filling in for Gottlieb's absentee model and putting on stockings and heels, it became clear that Elbe identified as a woman. Gottlieb saw herself as a lesbian and even created famous lesbian erotica paintings. The couple moved to Paris to live openly.Gottlieb rose to success as a painter using Lili dressed as a femme fatale as her muse.In 1930, Elbe's body dysmorphia drove her to seek out gender-confirmation surgery in Germany. The procedure was highly experimental at the time — Lili is one of the first identifiable subjects — and took four operations over two years. As Elbe's procedure gained press, Danish courts invalidated her marriage to Gottlieb, who remarried and moved to Italy..Having undergone several operations before the age of antibiotics, Elbe died of an infection in 1931.Dorothy Arzner and Marion MorganWhen people say there's yet to be a lesbian auteur in cinema, they are forgetting Dorothy Arzner.Arzner, the only successful female director during Hollywood's golden age, was romantically linked to stars including Alla Nazimova and Billie Burke. But everything shifted when Arzner met Marion Morgan, a vaudeville dancer and choreographer, on the set of Fashions for Women. An entrepreneur herself, Morgan led her own performance troupe. The two began a romance and collaborated on films for decades.Meanwhile, Arzner helped launch the careers of Katharine Hepburn and Lucille Ball and became the first woman to join the Directors Guild of America and direct a film with sound.Successful businesswomen, Arzner and Morgan commissioned architect W.C. Tanner to build them a Hollywood Hills estate, where they lived for 40 years.Sallie Holley and Caroline PutnamThese two abolitionists met at Oberlin College and became agents of the American Anti-Slavery Society as soon as they graduated. The couple traveled on the abolitionist lecture circuit alongside Sojourner Truth fighting for black people to be freed. After the Civil War and emancipation, the two split to pursue their calling for justice. Holley gave talks in the North raising money to educate freed slaves, while Putnam went to Virginia to teach them. She ended up founding the Holley School, named after her lover.Holley joined Putnam in Lottsburg, Va., where they taught together at the school year-round. Dedicated to encouraging and enabling black men to vote when they as women still could not, they died having left the school to an all-black board of trustees who kept it open for decades.Edith Anna Somerville and Violet Florence MartinThroughout the late 19th century, Irish novelist Edith Somerville wrote in collaboration with her cousin "Martin Ross," who in reality was her lover, Violet Martin. Publishing 14 stories and novels, the two achieved success under the pseudonym "Somerville and Ross."Though they really were cousins, their creative and romantic bond endured. After Violet died, Edith continued to write under their shared pen name, convinced that the two could communication through spiritualist séances.Greta Garbo and Mercedes de Acosta
Mercedes de Acosta, a successful poet, playwright, and screenwriter, was an out and proud lesbian who bragged that she could have any woman she wanted. After meeting Hollywood icon Greta Garbo in 1931, she knew exactly what woman that was. The two began a relationship shortly after their introduction, but it was never smooth sailing. At times, Garbo opened her arms and heart to de Acosta, only to pull away. They drew inspiration from each other, with de Acosta penning a screenplay for Garbo to portray Joan of Arc, but it was never filmed. But their romance was never dead even when it was over; Garbo wrote de Acosta 181 letters, cards, and telegrams. In 1959, when de Acosta was destitute, she sold them to the Rosenbach Museum & Library in Philadelphia. "I would not have had the heart or courage to have burned these letters," de Acosta wrote to William McCarthy, curator of the museum. "Greta's and Marlene's who were lovers .... I only hope ... they will be respected and protected from the eyes of vulgar people." Convinced de Acosta was bad luck and upset that she was open about her queer relationships in memoirs, Garbo decided to erase their romance from her life completely. When de Acosta was dying, a friend asked Garbo to write her a goodbye, but out of pain and fear, Garbo refused.
Eleanor Roosevelt and Lorena Hickok
Though we don't know for sure if the most consequential U.S. first lady was a member of the LGBT community, it's believed she fell for journalist Lorena Hickok. They met in 1928, when Franklin D. Roosevelt was running for governor of New York. He was elected president four years later, and by the time he was sworn in as commander in chief, the first lady was already wearing a sapphire ring bestowed on her by "Hick," whom she affectionally called Kickok. The journalist joined the Roosevelts every Sunday night for dinner, went on trips with Eleanor to the opera, and was the first to interview her as she took on the White House. Hickok was so in love with her companion that objective reporting became impossible. When apart, the two professed their love via telephone and letter; Roosevelt even kept a picture of Hickock in her study.
ok A+Attorney General William Barr On Religious LibertyVery Nice A+WHAT IS KUNDALINI AWAKENING/ACTIVATION?Imagine seeing the world with expansive vision. You have keen perception that combines innumerable perspectives at once. You understand your feelings perfectly. You also sense how others are interpreting the world, how others feel. Their judgments are clear to you. With adequate practice and guidance, this is some of the enlightenment that comes through kundalini awakening. Awaken the dormant energy within you.Exploring Kundalini Awakening through the Parable of Shiva and Shakti Kundalini is often described as a dormant serpent energy coiled up at the base of the spine. Imagine a resting snake, coiled eight times, waiting to unleash its magnificent power at the base of a great mountain. She has within her infinite energy potentiating. She is the force of creation, resting, longing to rise up to be in union with consciousness at the heights of spiritual bliss. It is said that the serpent is Shakti, a goddess that is legendary for having created all that is. One of two protagonists in a sort of “big bang” origin story, inspired by her longing to be one with Lord Shiva, the other protagonist.Lord Shiva symbolizes consciousness and the unmovable power of the observer. He is said to have been meditating for thousands of years while Shakti danced for him. Her longing to be at one, dancing with her beloved provokes him to open one of his three eyes. She beckons for him to dance with her. He closes his eye and rests back in meditation for thousands more years, awaiting her absolute clarity that joining in harmonious union with him is her true desire. As her longing intensifies, she determines that she must dance with her Beloved Lord Shiva. At that, his three eyes open, they dance together, and all at once the universe unfolds into creation. All of nature is created as a result of their union. The witness is consciousness, unmoving and unchanging. Nature is all that dances, all that moves and changes in this world. The witness or seer within each of us is Shiva and the nature of all things around us and within us is Shakti. When Shiva and Shakti are separate, spiritual awakening cannot take place. That separate state is known as a duality. The very merging of Shiva and Shakti obliterates duality and opens the spiritual river of oneness through which Kundalini flows.According to Yogarupa Rod Stryker, “awakening to this vision of ourselves and the world we live in as ultimately nondual,” is the path to happiness and true spiritual awakening. The bliss state is not conditional. That means the ecstasy of a kundalini awakening does not depend that life play out in any specific way. It’s the type of sheer joy felt by Eckart Tolle as he describes his awakening in, The Power of Now. The unconditional bliss and oneness that a kundalini awakening produces can be experienced only from a state of Samadhi. Samadhi means to be at one with the all things, feeling no separateness or duality from anything in creation. It is a state that yogis strive to realize after many years of mastery under a guru. It is exceedingly rare that anyone has sustained states of Samadhi without a deep well of daily practice and a guru or master teacher as a guide.WHAT IS KUNDALINI AWAKENING?According to Dr. David Frawley, Kundalini is the concentrated energy of awareness or attention. It is not an energy apart from consciousness, but rather the energy that manifests with consciousness when it becomes free from thought.” That is why a dedicated meditation practice can enable kundalini to flow, as the cessation of thoughts is a goal of certain forms of meditation on the path to oneness.Kara-leah Grant explains, “When Kundalini awakens, a person may experience deeper empathy with others, and this empathy can almost become telepathic. There is greater sensitivity, higher energy levels, sometimes psychic abilities or deep knowing, ageing can appear to slow down, creativity and charisma can increase, as can internal peace and knowing. There is a sense of being part of All that Is. The greater mysteries of life are no longer mysteries.”A person that realizes spiritual enlightenment through a kundalini awakening may chose to work in the healing arts. They tend work in harmony with their true life’s calling, perhaps signaling a change of careers. They may lose interest in material things while becoming more generous. They may speak less and chose words with deeper clarity and meaning.WARNING: SUBTLE BODY AWAKENING IN PROCESSA kundalini awakening is not so much a physical force, but the movement of the energy of the subtle body. Therefore you cannot undergo an awakening without taking the right steps to open and purify the channels of the subtle body. If you are not rightly prepared, a kundalini awakening might cause a ruckus that can feel like a breakdown. Take caution as you explore awakening the serpent energy within you.WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOUR KUNDALINI AWAKENS?If Kundalini is awoken, the energy is said to rise up from the base of the spine from the root chakra, which in parable has been referred to as the base of the mountain. The energy ascends to the peak, which correlates with the crown chakra and the pineal gland. (Carrellas, B. (2007). Urban tantra: sacred sex for the twenty-first century. Berkeley, CA: Celestial Arts. ) “When the pineal gland is activated, a major change in consciousness is experienced, explains Carrellas, author of Urban Tantra.” According to Stryker, awakening the kundalini energy causes a, “state of vision that is super sensory where we can access our highest potential.”TAKE HEED: AWAKENINGS MAY NOT BE CONTAINEDIf a practitioner is unprepared or the kundalini awakens spontaneously, there can be an experience of total inner chaos due to changes in motivation, appearance, diet, weight gain or loss, sensations in the crown of the head, and shifts in personality that an unguided and/or underprepared person might not be able to handle. A spontaneous arousal of kundalini energy can happen as a result of “intense energy work, drug use, sexual experiences, abuse or trauma, yoga practice or life events,” explains Grant. The awakening may cause spiritual distress and a total breakdown resulting in a massive life crisis. Some people lose jobs and relationships; others experience difficult emotions from a traumatic past as if the trauma is being relived in the moment. The test is weather they can overcome and learn from the past or be beaten by the same daemons from an earlier time. If you are well trained and guided, with strong and steady spiritual practices, you are more likely to manage these astonishing changes and sensations. It is sensible to follow a particular path, to be trained to know the signs and symptoms of a Kundalini Awakening, and to be aware of the changes that may occur so that you have spiritual practices and support of masters to guide you through.HOW TO AWAKEN YOUR KUNDALINI ENERGYOPEN YOUR SUSHUMNA NADI AND CEASE THINKINGAccording to Dr. David Frawley, “The awakening of kundalini requires that prana or life force enter into the sushumna or central channel. This occurs when the prana is withdrawn from its fixation through the thought process on the external world.” /video/pranayama-meditation) In order to open the central channel or sushumna nadi, one can practice alternate nostril breathing along with a number of yoga and tantra practices or focus, breath, and movement. To withdraw the senses from the physical body and to cease thought on the external is exceedingly difficult. The ability to do so, even for a brief moment, is the result of the practices of the fifth, 6th, and 7th limbs of yoga which will ultimately lead practitioners to the 8th and final limb, Samadhi. The fifth-seventh limbs can be roughly translated to one sense withdrawal, one-pointed focus of the mind, and concentration without an object. Learning the 8 limbs of yoga in sequential order is important. It is crucial to learn to draw the senses inward prior to learning to focus on one object at a time. Focusing on one object must be done before focus can be dissolved to no sense object. All of those skills must be ascertained prior to dissolving a sense of self that leaves the meditator in a state of Samadhi, in perfect union with all that is.DEDICATE TO YOUR SPIRITUAL PRACTICEYou can attempt to experience a kundalini awakening by practicing tantra, yoga (and Kundalini Yoga), as well as other spiritual practices with fervor and dedication for many years. It is ill-advised to rush this process by abusing drugs or partaking in advanced practices meant for practitioners with years more expertise.STUDY WITH A TEACHERStudy with a master teacher. Choose someone with personal experience in spiritual awakening to prepare yourself for a safer transcendence into a higher consciousness and state of oneness.KNOW THE ORIGIN OF THE ENERGYDepending on whom you study with and what particular tradition you study, you may learn that Kundalini rises from different points of origin. Yogarupa Rod Stryker states definitively that the kundalini life force energy arises from the navel or third eye pineal gland chakra. This is different from what was earlier described as kundalini living dormant at the root chakra in the base of the spine. Depending on the lineage you study, the practices will differ to bring you to experience this heavenly, and potentially precarious, spiritual awakening.KNOW THE DIFFERENCEIf you are not in a state of Samadhi or complete, then what you may experience is not truly a kundalini awakening. What it may be instead is some of your energy centers waking up and gaining life force energy. This is more commonly what people have experienced in the yoga and meditation communities and is regularly confused with a deeper experience of a true kundalini awakening. Be aware that there is a difference. If you are called to experience a kundalini awakening, to be shifted and changed from the depths of your being, do so carefully and with guidance. Take your time learning the practices from your chosen spiritual path. Know the signs and symptoms of a kundalini awakening. Be prepared to undergo a major shift in consciousness. Prepare to be awakened (Activated).Very Nice A+|YOUR CONNECTION TO YOUR HOLY MENTAL SELFAugust 31, 2018|MESSAGES FROM ARCHANGEL MICHAEL * LM-9-2018Beloved masters, as you move forward on the path of en-Lighten-ment, and you come to a better understanding of cosmic law and the workings of the universe, we welcome the opportunity to occasionally give you a better understanding of some of the concepts of Creation and the complexity of the physical vessel. Therefore, we would like to give you an in-depth explanation of the composition of the Etheric Body and its importance in the process of ascension. The Etheric Body or Etheric Web, which is much finer in substance than the earthly body, refers to the invisible counterpart of the physical body. The Etheric Body is composed of the physical aura, which conveys your physical state of health via various colors and the distortions – or lack thereof – within the Etheric Web pattern. The emotions of pain, suffering and resentment are thought forms which are keeping you from embracing and becoming the Bearer of Light you were meant to be. The auric field is the invisible electromagnetic force field that surrounds the physical body, and it magnetizes energy to you and radiates vibrational frequency patterns from you.The aura of the mental body within the Etheric Web is almost non-existent in those who are trapped in the restrictions of the Third and lower-Fourth Dimensions because they see the world and events through a filter of illusion created by their past beliefs, thoughts and actions. When existing in a Third- / Fourth-Dimensional environment, the dominating force within the emotional body is the astral plane. Therefore, a vast majority of people are under the influence of their base personality and the ego desire body, which is composed of unfulfilled yearnings from the past, as well as emotional imbalances and feelings of being unworthy and / or unloved. One of the most dramatic phases of the ascension process is moving through the distortions of the emotional mass-consciousness belief system into the stability, freshness and harmony of the higher Dimensions. The ascension process entails the gradual integration and assimilation of the next higher-Dimensional frequency Facet of your Higher Self. You are in the process of expanding your Light and your consciousness. Your transformation into Self-mastery, as well as the ascension process, will be greatly accelerated once you have expanded your personal lifeline of Light – an etheric tube of Light – which is your core connection to your Divine I AM Presence. You are also in the process of reestablishing your connection to the River of Life via your personal Antakarana (Rainbow Bridge of Light), which contains the Creator Essence called Adamantine Particles. Over the many past ages, humanity has diminished the connection to the River of Life/Light so that, in most people, it has become only a small trickle of Life Force energy.Remember, one person who is centered within their Sacred Heart and Sacred Mind can convey cosmic truths and inspired thoughts to millions of people while the loving vibrations of their auric field blesses everyone with whom they come in contact.^^ You find yourself withdrawing from social activities and events that were pleasurable in the past. Loud noises, crowds and boisterous activities disturb you, and you yearn for seclusion, and perhaps the serenity of nature. As your vibrational frequencies lift and become more harmonious, you will disengage from interaction with people, events and places that emit lower discordant frequencies. Also, gradually, you will have less and less in common with certain friends and relatives, especially those who are negative, judgmental and unkind to others.
^^ You may have intense bursts of energy whereby you can hardly stay still, and sometimes you may feel so light inside that you barely feel your bodily form. At other times, you may feel so weighed down that you are almost sinking into the ground, and you may experience extreme fatigue. Your bodily form is going through an intense metamorphosis at an etheric and cellular level, and some of the transformational symptoms are not pleasant – especially for those who exist in an older or somewhat debilitated bodily form.^^ As the Kundalini (Sacred Fire) begins to rise up your spinal column (the etheric tube of Light), you may experience times of intense inner heat, while your exterior body feels cold and even clammy. That is the reason why, initially, it is best to strive for a gradual release of the Kundalini Fire stored within the Root chakra at the base of the spine so that you may slowly integrate the higher frequencies of God Light. Faster and more are not necessarily better when you are in the midst of the transformational process of ascension.
^^ For those in the early stages of the process, the experience of integrating refined Light frequencies will not be overly dramatic. However, for those StarSeed who are well on their way within the ascension process, and who have agreed to be World Servers, clearing the path for others can be a formidable and an ongoing process as they integrate higher and higher frequencies of Light to share with others.
^^ You may feel as though you are on an emotional roller coaster as you experience many emotional ups and downs. You are tapping into and releasing much impacted energy and discordant frequency patterns from a deep cellular level. It is important to allow these feelings to come to the surface so they can be transmuted into more refined Light substance. It is important that you learn to become an observer of what is occurring, as you objectively view, process and rectify with loving patience and understanding that which is being revealed to you.
^^ Your eating habits may change drastically. Whatever you choose to eat, follow your inner guidance, and monitor how your body feels after you have ingested anything. Your Body Elemental or inner body intelligence is awakening, and if you will pay attention, it will direct you to the proper food and diet. Always remember, moderation in all things is the key.
^^ You may have many strange aches and pains for which there is no definitive diagnosis. There are many minor chakra and meridian points within the physical body. As the higher frequencies of Light try to flow throughout the body, they can meet resistance at these critical junctures, which can cause discomfort. One of the most common areas of distress is in the area of the spinal column of the upper back, between the shoulder blades.
^^ You may feel as though you are losing your mind or at least your memory. There are multi-Dimensional levels within the brain, so as you lift your frequency patterns, the lower levels of the brain will gradually be refined. Therefore, you will no longer need or be able to access much of your negative past history, as well as much of the trivia you have stored there. You will be gaining access to the higher levels of the brain where your Sacred Mind dwells. The unification between the Sacred Mind and the Sacred Heart is an integral part of the ascension process.
My brave ones, you must admit, it is an exhilarating time to be in the physical vessel, and yet your physical vessel is struggling to keep up with the ever-increasing frequencies that you are integrating moment-by-moment and day-by-day. Many of you who have not suffered colds, the flu or intestinal disturbances for many years are now experiencing these debilitating symptoms, and some of you ask, “What am I doing wrong?” You are not doing anything wrong, dear hearts; it is what you are doing right that is causing some of these uncomfortable bouts of bodily distress. We acknowledge the fact that these occurrences are not pleasant to experience. However, we wish to give you another facet of truth to ponder on. Again, many of you who are deeply submersed in the transformational ascension process are experiencing these uncomfortable symptoms as a way to quickly transmute the old negative energies within your physical vessel. You could call it a transmutation or baptism by fire, a burning and releasing of old frequency patterns to allow the higher, more refined crystalline cells of consciousness to infiltrate and take dominion within. Not all viruses are bad, nor are all the uncomfortable symptoms you are experiencing. See them as a means to an end and serving a higher purpose. These things, too, will pass, dear ones.
We ask you to nurture yourselves and to pay attention as never before to your physical vessels and the signals or messages your wise Body Elemental projects to you. How will you enjoy the beautiful world of love, joy and abundance you are creating if your precious physical vessel is not vibrant and healthy?
Join us in your Pyramid of Light, beloveds, and allow us assist you to move through the process with ease, grace and great joy. May the radiance of our Father/Mother God pour down upon you and fill you with the Light of Life everlasting. Know that we are ever near to guide and protect you. I AM Archangel Michael.*** Transmitted through RONNA VEZANE *** *STAR*QUEST*www.StarQuestMastery.com *** Email: RonnaStar@earthlink.net
(Activation)All beings within our galaxy have this energetic force that is known as Kundalini. The term Kundalini comes from a Sanskrit word ‘Kundal’ meaning “coiled up”. Kundalini is often called the “serpent power” and is the energy that nourishes the Tree of Life within us. It is the primordial female energy that lives at the base of the spine inside the triangular bone known as the Sacrum. We are born with Kundalini although this energy remains dormant throughout most mankind until it is ready to be awakened. A kundalini awakening can be achieved through initiative ritual or can happen spontaneously due to the individual soul.In truth, we are Awakening since birth, it is not a light switch you turn on automatically or one you can turn off once it happens because it is happening to all of us. It all amounts to different levels of awareness that all mold together in the end. We are each various parts of the same ONE experience that is endless life.Spiritual Awakening can happen to anyone at any age. There are many methods of awakening the kundalini fire such as yoga, meditation, near-death experience, mind-substances, sex, out-of-body experience, pro-longed stress, initiation by a guru, shamanic ritual and even crocheting. It has happened to many gurus, spiritual practitioners, shamans and various others throughout history. Gopi Krishna, one of the founders of Kundalini research experienced kundalini awakening due to a sacred meditation known as the1 Golden Flower method. It is said the Golden Flower method takes over 100 days of practice to start forming the built up energy of kundalini which leads into the understanding of self-realization.There are numerous methods of initiation where the kundalini is achieved through the help of a master teacher or guru when they take special preparations to direct the flow of kundalini through the awakening of consciousness. While there are others who have experienced Awakening at a faster rate in time such as Terence McKenna, philosopher and psychonaut. He discovered the miraculous secrets of the universe by eating psilocybin magic mushrooms in the Amazon. It lead into his extensive research on psychedelics which McKenna believed are the key to “trans-dimensional travel” of the human psyche.Ramana Maharshi, a famous Hindu guru born in 1870 experienced when he was only sixteen a Kundalini awakening by a sudden annihilating fear of death that overtook his body. It was through the realization of looking inward by contemplating about death he was able to experience a spontaneous awakening through Ego death.Philip St. Romain, a Christian Minister experienced his own shocking awakening through the simple method of prayer to God.Aleister Crowley, famous occultist and founder of the religion Thelema in the late 1800s, had various methods of his own pertaining to Magick including alchemy, sex, hashish and Mescaline.Aldous Huxley, the English writer of Brave New World went through an awakening experience through Peyote[mescaline] where he relived his experiences within his life-altering book of the 1950s, The Doors of Perception. The Doors of Perception created absolute outrage over the open vulnerable experience of psychedelics which was barely even acknowledged in the 1950s. The discovery of the beauty of the universe lead him into researching psychedelic and Psychiatric studies. The presence of Kundalini has even intrigued the intellectual mind of Carl Jung, Alan Watts, Timothy Leary, Daniel Pinchbeck, Maynard Keenan, Joe Rogan, Russell Brand, and various iconic intellectuals. The Kundalini Shakti has ignited the fire within many individuals throughout the entire world from the Shaman to the psychiatrist to the average adult to the psychonauts. The point is Awakening is not a special elite, it can and will happen to everyone at some point in their existence.SHAKTIPAT – THE ENERGY OF THE ALLAt the heart of the Kundalini experience is something known as the initiation of Shaktipat. Shaktipat is the transfer of spiritual energy from the teacher to the student in order to initiate the kundalini Shakti. It can happen in person or at a distance. In truth we are all accessing this Shaktipat energy because our reality is made from electromagnetic fields of energy currents. The initiation of Shaktipat is merely another symbol into the different levels of Awakening. This Spiritual energy is composed from the oscillation of given frequency waves that connect together through the collective consciousness.Kundalini is naturally a creative energy it is the same feeling that Einstein encountered when he discovered the theory of Relativity. Likewise it the same current you feel when struck with inspiration for composing a song, painting a picture or writing a novel. The very aspect of creativity is linked towards Kundalini energy, this is why creative means are linked towards our right-hemisphere because they directly connect to the spirit world and it’s Queen, Kundalini Shakti. Also Kundalini is highly acknowledged as a sexual energy. It is literally the same energy you feel when having an orgasm, the kundalini fire. It is through channeling this energy from the sex organs up through the spine into the master glands of the brain stem that creates the Kundalini Flow. This is why Awakening can happen on accident through sexual intimacy if not careful. While Kundalini is rooted in the sex glands, it is not the sole cause of Kundalini. The sexual energy of Kundalini is merely one part of the experience, it has been said that in truth Kundalini is about the opening or awakening of the Heart Center. Jana Dixon emphasizes this in her own very intensively researched book on the Biology of Kundalini. She states,“It’s not sex per se that helps to trigger kundalini, it’s the vasodilation of the cardiovascular system, and the associated introduction of new parasympathetic levels of “relaxation” in the body-mind….Normally chaotic electrocardiogram spectrum patterns become coherent during positive states like falling in love. What initiates kundalini is therefore the opening of the heart, coupled with the positive state of the mind and increased prana flow that comes with being in love. Love in whatever form is transformational, for love is source energy”It is the Heart opening that creates the bridge between the lower and higher chakras, causing Kundalini Shakti to travel to the crown, awakening the mind to higher intelligence. The heart is vastly important towards Awakening because it is the connection piece that enables the kundalini to flow properly. According to the latest research in neurocardiology “the heart is a sensory organ and a sophisticated center for receiving and processing information.[ref] The Heart has it’s Own Brain and Consciousness[/ref] The heart is actually quite stronger than the brain. For instance in the article on The Energetic Heart is Unfolding, it states: “The heart generates the largest electromagnetic field in the body. The electrical field as measured in an electrocardiogram (ECG) is about 60 times greater in amplitude than the brain waves recorded in an electroencephalogram (EEG).” [ref]www.heartmath.org[/ref] “The magnetic component is approximately 5000 times stronger than the brain’s magnetic field and can be detected several feet away from the body with sensitive magnetometers.”[ref] The Heart has it’s Own Brain and Consciousness[/ref] This means that not only is the heart stronger than the mind, it is also able to perceive information through electromagnetic currents in the very same way as the brain can. That being said The heart center is a huge component to Awakening because it is the opening of the heart center where we begin to develop empathy, unconditional love and compassion towards others on our own journey. The Myth of KundaliniIt is symbolically an art form based in Tantric philosophy. In Tantra[ref]Tantra-kundalini.com[/ref], the story starts with the entire universe seen as a manifestation of Consciousness. When manifesting this Universe, the consciousness became divided into two regions neither of which can exist without the other. In order to enable the totality of Manifestation each requires the other. The first region, Shiva is a masculine force that remains identified with the unmanifest consciousness. where he has the power to be at rest rather than change. While Shakti, the feminine force is flexible, dynamic and creative seen as the Great Mother of the universe where all form is born.Within Tantra, the human being is personified as a miniature universe or the microcosm of the macrocosm. “All that is found in the cosmos can be found within each individual, and the same principles that apply to the universe applys in the case of the individual being.” [ref]Tantra-kundalini.com[/ref]The Androgynous - Shiva & ShaktiIn the human body lives Shakti, the feminine aspect called Kundalini. This energetic force rests at the base of the spine in the sacrum. The Tantric practice of Kundalini yoga is about igniting this powerful cosmic energy to ascend through the chakras that live along the axis of the spine where conscious thought is born. Shakti dances her way through the ascension of the Chakra system above the crown to unite with Shiva, pure consciousness. This is the basis of Kundalini where we merge duality into unity, shiva-shakti, uniting our conscious perception into ascending into a higher intelligence of human awareness. There is also the descent of Kundalini which few talk about where once the Kundalini reaches sushumna it still has to travel back down to the Material Plane. This is where you take everything that you have learned from the Kundalini awakening and start applying it to your own life. The descent of kundalini transforms our physical reality, instead of feeling your life is mundane and trivial you surrender to life and the universal flow of existence. You become the observer of reality and co-creator of your own subjective experience. There are also three channels that are vastly important to Kundalini known as the Nadis. Nadi translates to “stream”. These are subtle channels that direct the energy through the body where they circulate and flow. According to the Kundalini Yoga, there are 72,000 nadis in the astral body that all correspond directly with the nerves of the physical human form. [ref]Kundalini yoga[/ref] Of these, Ida, Pingala and Sushumna are considered the most important. Ida is known as the left channel, the feminine force that represents the moon. Then there is Pingala, the right channel, which is the masculine force and symbolizes the Sun. Finally Sushumna, the central channel where Ida and Pingala intertwine. In the Masculine body Kundalini rests within the perineum between the urinary and excretory organs. While in the feminine body it’s location is the root of the uterus, the center of creation within the cervix. [ref]Satyananda Saraswati. Kundalini Tantra. Yoga Publications Trust. India 2002[/ref] All three meet in Muladhara or the Root Chakra where Shakti, the unconscious kundalini symbolized as a serpent blocks the entrance to Sushumna with its mouth. Therefore the Kundalini Serpent remains coiled at the base of the spine asleep until the Awakening of Kundalini.kundalini The power of the Kundalini fire is a powerful energetic force that can transmogrify any being who undergoes the process of Awakening. It is said that once the Sushumna, the central nervous channel rises to the brain stem further into the crown above the head which causes the blooming of the thousandths petalled lotus known as enlightenment or self-realization . It can awaken us to a higher cognitive intelligence that opens our consciousness to altered states of awareness. In other words, we can awaken our consciousness through the arousal of Kundalini which can induce psychic gifts and brings into our awareness multiple dimensions of the inner workings of the psyche. It also helps us utilize more of our brain capacity than normal cognitive understanding. The Kundalini force is essentially the epitome of the human experience. It is the divine essence of ourselves experienced within the individual. It goes by many names throughout numerous cultures such as nirvana, samadhi, shangri-la, Bliss, ecstasy, communion, Brahman, quintessence of man, liberation, the stairway to heaven, path of the initiates, these all symbolize the same thing which is Kundalini Awakening. In Psychology we label it as the unconscious or subconscious aspect of consciousness. Kundalini can be a powerful force that unleashes the illusions of this world which can bind us and terrify us as our reality starts ripping apart at the seams. However this energy also liberates our soul and starts putting the puzzle pieces of the mystery together that is reality. Once we awaken the sleeping serpent our life is forever changed. We are liberated from the confines of the material form and see beyond the veil of time into the other worlds of reality that is only seen in the conformist’s eye as the world of the “unknown”.The History and Symbolic Representation of KundaliniAlthough the precise origin of Kundalini is unknown it has been acknowledged throughout various cultures originating from the Upanishads around the 5thcentury. It is described extensively within Tantric and Vedic scriptures as well as Egyptian mythology. The concept of Kundalini is within various religions such as Hinduism, Gnosticism, Buddhism, Kabbalah, Taoism and many more. In fact almost all religions speak of this innate inner power in some form or symbolic context, it even appears within the Holy Bible. The old Testament is filled with many symbolic interpretations that connect directly towards spiritual awakening. For instance, Jesus even mentioned awakening is the true destiny for all Christians:“And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even as the son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have eternal life”.Another passage that is significant towards Awakening is written in the Gnostic Gospel of Thomas where it states:“The kingdom of God is Within you [Luke 17:21]”thoth_hermes_mercury1Originally humanity has named this energy by the work of various deities, gods, goddesses, angels and divinities each with a sacred story of creation that all underlines the same thing that is the awakening of Kundalini. The Egyptian Legend of Osiris, The Babylonian Enuma Elish, the Norse’s creation myth,The Korean Legend of Dan Gun, The Tibettan scriptures, the Navajo Story of Emergence, the Maya’s Popol Vuh, Hermes Trismegistus’s Emerald Tablets of Thoth and many other mythologies all underline the same symbolic creation of the Awakening. The symbol of the snake is one that has been known since the beginning of time including the story of Adam and Eve. The serpent is represented as the vital energy of kundalini, it shows sexuality, fertility, transmutation and healing. Most recognizably, the Serpent can shed it’s skin going through a process of renewal and rebirth. It is a transformation of internal alchemy where it unmasks the illusions and limitations of the soul. The three and half coils of the Kundalini serpent are also a symbol for the past, present and future experience of self. They represent the mantras of OM[AUM] relating to the three states of consciousness: tamas [sleeping], rajas[dreaming], and sattva[waking]. They also represent the three types of experience: subjective, sensual and absence of experience while the half coil represents the state of transcendence, neither awake, sleeping or dreaming. The famous sculptures of the Pharaohs in Egypt with the two snakes wrapped around the headdress, this too is also kundalini. The Chinese guardian Lions grasping the sacred sphere of the flower of life is also linked to awakening. The occult symbol of Baphome2t often seen as the symbol of the devil is actually the symbol of the pathway of kundalini. It is even depicted within both Greek and Roman mythology where it is symbolized as Hermes[or Mercury] ‘s Caduceus. A symbol of a golden staff with two snakes entwined together wrapped around to the top, surmounted with wings. This is represented as the awoken kundalini, the staff represents the spinal cord or the physical vessel while the two snakes represent Ida and Pingala the masculine and feminine energy channels. The Wings are the Awakened one that ascends their consciousness, the symbol of Ascension. We should all be quite familiar with this symbol; it is also misrepresented as the medical symbol we use in modern society often confused with the staff of Asclepius. The Symbolism of the Kundalini serpent has shown its way throughout history in mythology, literature, esoteric, hermetic, alchemical, and even biblical texts. It is undeniable to see the history of Kundalini is not a new concept but one that has evolved over time. The Process of KundaliniAwakening is as beautiful as birth and terrifying as death, it’s the ripping and crumbling away of illusions that encase your reality. We cannot perceive Awakening as merely a simple matter one that is shown as a metaphor or symbol, it is a biological process into the neurological changes of our genetic substructure of our DNA strands. When we awaken we are not merely going through a change of awareness we are entering the chemical or alchemical change of our physical body, soul and mind. To understand how this works we have to not only see this from an energetic standpoint but also down to the levels of cellular and molecular biology. If we separate one from the other we are merely labeling only one half of the same Whole experience. When we are able to understand this frequency of existence encompasses everything down to our cellular structures within our body, this changes everything. For some this may seem impossible, although what Neurobiology shows us through extensive study that this can be possible. The process of Kundalini is a complex mechanism that is fundamentally linked to biological processing and changes within the central nervous system. We must think of our consciousness or human body as a light body made of miraculous energetic form. Imagine yourself lik1e a light bulb beaming with currents of electromagnetic frequency rippling off sound waves that create cellular communication between cell pathways. This is what our body is doing all the time, the average computer seems primitive compared to the systematic functions of the human mind. We are an intricate system tied between billions of interconnected cells organized in an aggregate matter within and without many layers. Each layer connects to a different level of cellular communication that translates into conscious awareness. These layers connect into our biological processing and our energetic processing through the dimensional layers of consciousness known as our subtle body. Everything you do, say, feel, touch, taste, smell and think revolves around the communication between one organism that is your brain. Every organ within your body is a communication device directing signals towards neurons in your mental cavity. Your reality doesn’t exist without your conscious awareness and this is inscrutability linked with how our mind processes reality. Kundalini doesn’t just exist on the energetic level or only the physical level, it is a process between the connection of both through the cognitive understanding of the brain.Everything is connected from your internal mind to your external reality that you manifest with the power of your thoughts. This process lives inside of us through Cosmology due to quantum physics, geometrically through energetic fractal formations by mathematics, systematically through entrainment of synchronization, and mentally through the projection of biologically processing information from our mind. The Universe is a miraculously orchestrated systematic divine order that is created through an intricate design governed by the processing of our own human consciousness. If that doesn’t show you the beauty of existence I’m not sure what could… This system is an intricate design because it is more than just one layer of consciousness, it is a multitude of layers upon endless layers of consciousness that are built around probability wave functions composed of energy. It is through these probability wave functions that matter comes to form which produces the reality you live and breathe in everyday of your life.Gopi Krishna stated it perfectly, “ The empiricist who would like to explore this territory must experiment in the laboratory of his own self”. It is almost tongue in cheek to realize that what we are endlessly searching for outside of ourselves can only be actualized within ourselves. You come into the world through the spirit world and you thrive in the material world they are inter-connected parts of ourselves. This is the missing key, we are the bridge between worlds. It is not one or the other it is both. It is a two-way street and you aren’t going to get anywhere if you’re still stuck at the crossing light trying to figure out which direction you need to go.The experience of a Kundalini Awakening can vary greatly but the undercurrents are naturally the same, it’s about finding and uniting with the god source within all of us. The Process of a Kundalini Awakening is not a simple endeavor it can take years perhaps even decades to open your kundalini. It also revolves around conscious choice through the individual soul perhaps through their own soul blueprint. Although for the most part it can happen spontaneously where the ignition of the unconscious begins to take over your life at a lightning fast speed that for many individuals, words don’t do justice to the experience itself. There are various symptoms that happen once the kundalini is awakened which are stated here: Symptoms of Kundalini Awakening.Kundalini is nothing to do with ethics or religion, it is centered around our experiences and view of the world. The process of kundalini doesn’t just awaken your energy, it transforms your entire life experience. It changes your personal attachments, philosophies, priorities and gives us the challenge of endurance. It expressively opens up our perceptions into various planes of reality, these are known as dimensions of consciousness. The Kundalini serpent creates a look into the other side of human awareness a place where everyone can tap into at will when they are ready to enter. The process itself can bring a quickening of thoughts, an onset of telepathic communication, sensory overload, visions, hallucinations, seeing/feeling energy and startling philosophical revelations that creates pure clarity and vision of conscious awareness.Although the process of Kundalini does have many aspects of clarity and bliss we must not forget this is the deconstruction and transcendence of our Ego mind. As Carl Jung states, “there1 is no coming to consciousness without pain”. There are varying degrees of a Kundalini experience that could be expressed as a roller coaster of emotion once you are on the track of awakening. The Awakening of Kundalini brings a shocking transformation towards the individual where their internal and external world is turned upside down. What Kundalini creates is a catalyst inside of your mind which manifests into your physical reality. This catalyst unleashes the unconscious mind from its slumber where it starts bringing the subconscious to the forefront of your mind. This enables our minds to start accessing our long-term memories. It begins activating through various psychological archetypal triggers within the brain stem that create the given frequency to open doors into various perceptions of reality. When the unconscious is released, we awaken the Kundalini Shakti which isn’t always a pleasant experience in the beginning…It creates a remote dissociation with the material world as our mind fully disconnects from the old shell of consciousness. It is the Medulla oblongata that helps activate the unconscious brain into a distinct action that creates what is known as the Dark Night of the Soul. The Dark night of the soul puts our consciousness in a pure auto-pilot unconscious fight/flight response of adrenal activity. In energetic terms it is the disconnection of the Root Chakra. This creates a psychosomatic response that is instinctual within our minds. It is a primitive fact we learn through the mirror of others since infancy. It is this mirror reflection that rules our lives but we never seem to question the mirror. When we go through the dark night of the soul everyone becomes our personal mirror. In the book, Biology of Kundalini Jana Dixon states extensively on the importance of the changes in the Nervous system due to Kundalini Awakening:“The unconscious nervous system is the autonomic nervous system…which yogis do have some control over. Many of the kundalini symptoms arise from the brainstem, which consists of the medulla, pons, cerebellum and midbrain…that is the majority of kundalini symptoms originate from areas of the brain that are beyond our normal control. Hence many of the symptoms and feelings arise directly from physiological events triggered by specific neural circuits and changes in neurochemistry. Over the period of peak awakening sex hormones and other pituitary hormones are raging; the heart is radically expanded and engorged with blood, and the digestive system venting due to parasympathetic hypertonality; skeletal muscles are ready for action and hypervigilance is up due to the fight-or-flight activation of the sympathetic nervous system.”The Dark night of the soul is where our mirrors become our antithesis, or as Carl Jung calls it “The shadow self”. The shadow self shows us what we don’t want to see, it digs deep inside of ourselves and presents all of our darkest fears and insecurities. The dark into the unseen is the place where many lose themselves within their own shadows, constantly fighting themselves through others and creating their own projected chaos into the mirrors of others. You begin to retreat inside of yourself where the universe is urging you to look within and question. This is the catalyst of awakening. The ripple of change that is not always pleasant but needed to see into the inner workings of the mind. The further one travels inside the darkness, the deeper the healing that it creates through the cleansing of the soul’s psyche. It is where we see that our darkness is merely an illusion of our eternal light. Once we are able to confront and face our own internal darkness of reality we are ready to rise up to the truth of this world. It is not a simple process, awakening is the deconstruction of the old karmic self or the old consciousness where it must give birth to the awakening of the evolutionary soul. When the adrenals are completely healed it enables the kundalini flow to take flight and start the karmic healing process. The ascension through the chakra strands enables our DNA to start operating on our nervous system turning on the functions of various genes to jump-start our consciousness to a higher perception of reality. This activation of the nervous system creates the given thought process to enable healing and open the door of particular structures of different healing modules that manifest into our physical reality. You will notice when awakening you will have particular situations that come to you at synchronized times that completely alter your thought process and your reality involving deep-wounded healing. They can manifest as illness, troubled relationships, death of a loved one, prolonged stress, and various events that alter a person’s life.Research on KundaliniUnfortunately due to Kundalini being a taboo subject there isn’t much scientific research on the biological processing of Kundalini as of today. There is even the absurd notion of “Kundalini Syndrome” which is a completely misunderstood disease directly linking to what is known as Kundalini Awakening. Kundalini is not a psychotic disorder, it is not delusions of your subconscious and it is definitely not insanity. It is ultimately an experience that changes the conditioning of consciousness. However many people who have researched kundalini believe this is due to cellular regeneration and changes within the nervous system. It is said this activation within your nervous system restructures the cellular bonds to enable the frequency of cellular regeneration. Thus creating the healing module to restructure the brain and awaken signals that were once hidden towards humanity’s capacity of the brain stem. Although there needs to be more scientific documentation on the subject, there are already numerous studies being started on neuroplasticity and how the brain can change itself. Most famously there is groundbreaking research being done in neuroscience where they have seen changes within the mind through its structure and function by our thoughts and activities. They performed many experiments and cognitive exercises that prove with practice our brain can change due to thoughts alone. This can be further studied within the book, The Brain That Changes itself by Norman Doidge, MD. [ref]Norman Doidge, MD, The Brain That Changes Itself, Penguin Books, 2007[/ref]Another similar reference to Neuroplasticity and Kundalini is from the author JJ Semple and his book Deciphering the Golden Flower One Secret at a Time. When he was younger he had a childhood accident that robbed him of his memories and talents as he grew up and discovered the golden flower method which ignited his own kundalini awakening. Due to changes within his Nervous system, he was able to revitalize his cognitive development, personality and even restore brain cells that he had lost since he was the age of seven. You can read more on his story here: Neuroplasticity and KundaliniBentovs modelThere is also an extensively researched blog by Iona Miller on Epigenetics and how they relate to the evolution of humanity pertaining directly towards Kundalini. She believes it’s not only the nervous system influence but our physical genes that change and transmute dna strands. It’s a very interesting read: The Kindling effect – Epigenetics and How Evolution Really worksItzak Bentov, a Czech scientist developed his own Kundalini model on brain activation and has written a few mind-expanding books on the subject of human evolution and consciousness. [ref]Bentov’s Model of the Kundalini[/ref]“According to this model, when Kundalini ascends the spine through the sushumna nadi (the main channel of subtle energy), it results in a huge energy influx into the brain. As the Kundalini flows from the thalamus to the cortex, it sets up a powerful energy loop within the brain, generating coherent alpha and gamma waves, and awakening the dormant, non-mechanical parts of the brain which we have never used before. With increasing levels of coherence, the whole brain comes alive, turning into a super-conductor of conscious energies that heal, empower and transform our lives. Enhanced awareness levels, greater creativity and extraordinary abilities start to express through us like levitation, teleportation and materialization. Brain activation is also known to slow down the ageing process and improve immunity to disease.” [ref]Scientific Study of Kundalini Activation and it’s benefits [/ref]Although the most notable influence on Kundalini Research is Paramahamsa Nithyananda, a controversial guru, spiritual teacher and founder of Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam, an ashram that offers various programs on meditation, Vedic tradition, yoga and healing located in Bengaluru, India. Hes been teaming up with scientists to try to decipher the biological means of Kundalini Awakening. They conducted a group experiment where 600 participants who attended Nithyananda’s intensive yoga and meditation retreat were tested for 21 days. The results were groundbreaking and can be viewed here: Scientific Study of Kundalini Activation
In general Kundalini Research is only at the beginning of its time, if more people begin to look into the science and biological processing of Kundalini we could make some miraculous changes towards health, mental illness, how we view psychology, social anxiety and many more! The Revolution is the Evolution of Consciousness.Very Good A+Excellent A+Rarely have we seen a person failed who has thoroughly follow our path. those who do not recover are people who cannot or will not completely give themselves to this simple program usually men and women who are constitutionally incapable of being honest with themselves. There are such unfortunates they are not at fault; they seem to have been born that way. They are naturally incapable of grasping and developing a manner of living which demands rigorous honesty. Their chances are less than average. There are, those, who suffer grave emotional and mental disorders, but many of them recover if they have the capacity to be honest. Our stories disclose in a general way what we use to be like, what happened, and what we are now. If you have decided you want what we have and are willing to go to any length to get it. Then you are ready to take certain steps. At some of these we balked. We thought, we could find an easier softer way, but we could not. With all earnestly at our command. We beg of you to be fearless and thorough from the very start. Some of us have tried to hold on to old ideas but the result was nil until we let go absolutely.Remember that we deal with alcohol- cunning, baffling and powerful! Without help it is too much for us. But there is One who has all the power - that one is God. May you find him now!Esta es la version en audio de los Doce Pasos y Dose Tradiciones de Alcoholicos AnonimosStep One“We admitted we were powerless over alcohol – that our lives had become unmanageable.”Who cares to admit complete defeat? Practically no one, of course. Every natural instinct cries out against the idea of personal powerlessness. It is truly awful to admit that, glass in hand, we have warped our minds into such an obsession for destructive drinking that only an act of Providence can remove it from us.No other kind of bankruptcy is like this one. Alcohol, now become the rapacious creditor, bleeds us of all self- sufficiency and all will to resist its demands. Once this stark fact is accepted, our bankruptcy as going human concerns is complete. But upon entering A.A We soon take quite another view of this absolute humiliation. We perceive that only through utter defeat are we able to take our first steps toward liberation and strength. Our admissions of personal powerlessness finally turn out to be firm bedrock upon which happy purposeful lives may be built. We know that little good can come to any alcoholic who joins A.A. unless he has firs accepted his devastating weakness and all its consequences. Until he so humbles himself, his sobriety- if any- will be precarious. Of real happiness he will find none at all. Proved beyond doubt by an immense experience, this is one of the facts of A.A life. The principle that we shall find no enduring strength until we first admit complete defeat is the main taproot from which our whole Society has sprung and flowered. When first challenged to admit defeat, most of us revolted. We had approached A.A. expecting to be taught self -confidence. Then we had been told that so far as alcohol is concerned, self- confidence was no good whatever, in fact, it was a total liability. Our sponsors declared that we were victims of a mental obsession so subtly powerful that no amount of human willpower could break it. There was, they said , no such thing as personal conquest of this compulsion by the unaided will. Relentlessly deepening our dilemma, our sponsors pointed out our increasing sensibility to alcohol- an allergy, they called it. The tyrant alcohol wield a double edged sword over us: First we were smitten by an insane urged that condemned us to go on drinking, and then by an allergy of the that insured we would ultimately destroy ourselves in the process. Few indeed were those, who assailed, had ever won through in single handed combat. It was a statistical that alcoholics almost never recover on their own resources. And this has been true, apparently, ever since man had first crushed grapes. In A,A,’s pioneering time, no one but the most desperate cases could swallow and digest this unpalatable truth. Even these “last-gaspers” often had difficulty how hopeless they actually were. But a few did, and when these laid hold of A.A. principles with a the fervor with which the drowning seize life preservers, they almost invariably got well. That is why the first edition of the book “alcoholics anonymous” published when our membership was small, dealt with low-bottom cases only. Many less desperate alcoholics tried A.A., but did not succeed because they could not make the admission of hopelessness. It is tremendous satisfaction to record that in the following years this changed. Alcoholics who still had their health, their families, their jobs, and even two cars in the garage, began to recognize their alcoholism. As this trend grew, they were joined by young people who were scarcely more than potential alcoholics. They were spared that last ten or fifteen years of literal hell the rest of us had gone through. Since Step One require and admission that our lives have become unmanageable, how could people like us these take this step?It was obviously necessary to raise the bottom the re of us hit to the point where it could not hit them. By going back in our own drinking stories, we could not show that years before we realized it we were out of control, that our drinking even then was no mere habit, that it was indeed the beginning of a fatal progression. To the doubters we could say, “Perhaps you are not an alcoholic after all. Why don’t you try some more controlled drinking, bearing in mind meanwhile we have told you about alcoholism?” This attitude brought immediate and practical results. It was then discovered that when one alcoholic had planted in the mind of another the true nature of his malady, that person could never be the same again. Following every spree, he would say to himself, “Maybe those A.A’’s were right…” after a few such experiences, often years before the onset of extreme difficulties, he would return to us convinced. He had hit bottom as truly as any of us, John Barleycorn himself had become our best advocate. Why all this insistence that every A.A. must hit bottom first? The answer is that few people will sincerely try to practice A.A. program unless they had hit bottom. For practicing the A.A. program unless they have hit bottom firs? The answer is that few people will sincerely try to practice the A.A. program unless they have hit bottom. For practicing A.A.’s remaining eleven Steps means the adoption of attitudes and actions that almost no alcoholic who is still drinking can dream of taking. Who wishes to be rigorously honest and tolerant? Who wants to confess his faults to another and make restitution to harm done? Who cares anything about Higher Power, let alone meditation and prayer? Who wants to sacrifice time and energy in trying to carry A.A.’s message to the next sufferer? No, the average alcoholic, self- centered in the extreme, doesn’t care for this prospect – unless he has to do these things in order to stay alive himself.Under the lash of alcoholism, we are driven to A.A., and there we discovered the fatal nature of our situation. Then, and only then, do we become as open minded to conviction and as willing to listen as the dying can be. We stand ready to do anything which will lift the merciless obsession from us.“Came to believe that a power greater than ourselves will restore us to sanity.”The moment they read Step 2, most A.A. new comers are confronted with a dilemma, sometimes a serious one. How often do we hear them cry out “Look what you people have done to us! You have convinced us that we are alcoholics and that our lives have become unmanageable. Having reduced us to a state of absolute helplessness, you now declare that none but a Higher Power can remove our obsession. Some of us won’t believe in God, others can’t and still others who do believe that God exists have no faith He will perform a miracle. Yes, you got us over the barrel, all right – but where do we go from her?’Let’s look first at the case of the one who says he wont believe- the belligerent one. He is in a state of mind which can be described only as savage. His whole philosophy of life, in which he so gloried, is threatened. It’s bad enough, he thinks, to admit alcohol has him down for keeps. But now, still smarting from admission, he is faced with something really impossible. How he does cherish the thought that man, risen so majestically from a single cell in the primordial ooze, is the spearhead of evolution and therefore the only god that his universe knows! Must he renounce all this to save himself? At this juncture, his A.A. sponsor usually laughs. This the newcomer thinks, is just about the last straw. This is the beginning of the end. And so it is: the beginning of the end of his old life, and the beginning of his emergence into a new one. His sponsor probably says, “Take it easy, The hoop you have jump through is a lot wider than you think. At least I found it so. So did a friend of mine was one-time vice president of the American Atheist Society, but he through with room to spare.”“Well,” says the newcomer, “I know you’re telling me the truth. It’s no doubt a fact that A.A. is full of people who once believed as I do. But just how, in these circumstances, does a fellow ‘take it easy”? That’s what I want to know”“That,” agrees the sponsor, “is a very good question indeed. I think I can tell you exactly how to relax. You won’t have to work at it very hard, either. Listen, if you will , to these three statements. First, Alcoholic Anonymous does not demand that you believe in anything. All of its Twelve Steps are but suggestions. Second, to get sober and to stay sober, you don’t have to swallow Step Two right now, Looking back, I find that I took it piecemeal myself. Third, all you really need is an open mind. Just resign from the debating society and quit bothering yourself with such a deep questions as whether it was the hen or the egg that came first, Again I say, all you need is the open mind.”The sponsor continues “Take for example, my own case. I had a scientific schooling. Naturally I respected, venerated, even worshiped science. As a matter of fat, I still do-all except the worship part. Time after time my instructors held up to me the basic principle of all scientific progress; search and research, again and again, always with an open mind. When I first looked at A.A. my first reaction was just like yours. This A.A. business, I thought, is totally unscientific. This I can’t swallow. I simply won’t consider such nonsense.“ Then I woke up. I had to admit that A.A. showed results, prodigious results, I saw that my attitude regarding these had been anything but scientific. It wasn’t A.A that had the closed mind, it was me. The minute I stopped arguing, I could begin to see and feel. Right there, Step Two gently and very gradually began to infiltrate my life. I can’t say upon what occasion or upon what day I came to believe in a Power greater than myself, but I certainly have to belief now. To acquire it, I had only to stop fighting and practice the rest of A.A’s program as enthusiastically as I could. This is only one man’s opinion based on his own experience, of course. I must quickly assure you that A.A.’s tread innumerable paths in their quest for faith. If you don’t care for the one I suggested, you’ll be sure to discover one that suits if only you look and listen. Many a man like you has begun to solve the problem by the method of substitution. You can, if you wish make A.A itself your “higher power.” Here’s a very large group of people who have solved their alcohol problem. In this respect they are certainly a power greater than you, who have not even come close to a solution. Surely you can have faith in them. Even this minimum faith will be enough. You will find many members who have crossed the threshold just this way. All of them will tell you that, once across, their faith broadened and deepened. Relieve of the alcohol obsession, their lives unaccountably transformed, they came to believe in a higher Power, and most of them began to talk of God”Step 3“ made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood him”PRACTICING Step Three is like the opening of a door which to all appearances is still closed and locked. All we need is a key, and it is called willingness. Once unlocked by willingness, the door opens almost of itself, and looking through it, we shall see a pathway beside which is an inscription. It reads: “ This is the way to a faith that works.” In the first two Steps we were engaged in reflection. We saw that we were powerless over alcohol, but we also perceived that faith of some kind, if only in A.A. itself., is possible to anyone. These conclusion did not require action; they require acceptance.Like all the remaining Steps, Step Three calls for affirmative action, for it is only by action that we can cut away the self-will which has always blocked the entry of God- or, if you like, a Higher Power – into our lives. Faith to be sure, is necessary, but faith alone can avail nothing. We can have faith, yet keep Good out of our lives. Therefore our problem now becomes just how and by what specific means shall we be able to let Him in. Step Three represents our first attempt to do this fact, in the effectiveness of the whole A.A. program will rest upon how well and earnestly we have tried to become to “a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him.”To every worldly and practical minded beginner. This Step looks hard, even impossible. No matter how much one wishes to try, exactly how can he turn his own will and his own life over to the care of God he thinks there is? Fortunately, we who have tried it, and with equal misgiving, can testify that anyone, anyone, at all can begin to do it. We can further add that a beginning, even the smallest, is all that is needed. Once we have placed the key of willingness in the lock and have the door ever so slightly open, we find that we can always open it some more. Though self will slam it shut again, as it frequently does, it will always respond to the moment we again pick up the key of willingness.Maybe this all sounds mysterious and remote, some thing like Einstein theory of relativity or a proposition in nuclear physics. It isn’t all. Lets look at how practical it actually is. Every man and woman who has joined A.A. and intends to stick has, without realizing it, made a beginning on Step Three. Isn’t t true that I n all matters touching upon alcohol, each of them decided to turn his or her life over to the care, protection, and guidance of Alcohol Anonymous? Already a willingness has been achieved to cast out one’s own will and one’s own ideas about the alcohol problem in favor of those suggested by A.A. Any willing newcomer feels sure A.A. is the only safe harbor for the foundering vessel has become. Now, if this not turning one’s will and life over to a newfound Providence, then what is it?But suppose that instinct still cries out, as certainly will, Yes respecting alcohol, I guess I have to be dependent upon A.A., but in all other matters I must still maintain my independence. Nothing is going to turn me into a nonentity. If I keep on turning my life and my will over to the care of Something or Somebody else, what will become of me? I’ll look like the hole in the doughnut.” This, of course, is the process by which instinct and logic always seek bolster egotism, and so frustrates spiritual development. The trouble is that this kind of thinking takes no real account of the facts. And the facts seem to be these: The more we become willing to depend upon a higher Power, the more independent we actually are. Therefore dependence, as A.A. practices it, is really a means of gaining trues independence of the spirit.Let’s examine for a moment this idea of dependence at the level of everyday living. In this area it is startling to discover how dependent we really are, and how unconscious of that dependence….We Continue to recognize excellence@ Bhagavad Gita0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

You Are the LightSatsang by Swami Amar Jyoti
On June 12th ~ 13th we observe Swami Amar Jyoti's Mahasamadhi /
conscious release from the physical planePERFECTION IS ALREADY THERE. You are already Light. As soon as you relax and getnon-busy, you will see the Light starting to shine.Relax the mind; that is the key to opening. Do work with the physical body but keep your mind and heart on the Lord. Don't get busy with other things. By busy I don't mean physically but mentally. Once you stop the mind's projections, structures, plans, wishes and desires, it will relax and then there will be a glimmer of Light on the horizon. And that dawn will give you hope to seek further.A person who troubles you and you don't want him or her near you ~ the time comes when you become compassionate and loving to that person. You see that this is not such a bad person. It's the way you look at things. Why are Enlightened Beings so compassionate and ordinary people so intolerant? When you have love and compassion, things appear differently. Each being we come across has lessons to impart. Humility, compassion, love and openness are very necessary. Through them your outlook becomes more comprehensive and integrated and gradually brings you to open to the Light. To behold the Light requires a clean heart, a pure heart. Until your heart becomes clean, go on practicing. Nothing will save us except God's Light or whatever term you use: Buddha, Christ, Master. That is where you are saved. There are two extremes and there is a middle path. The two extremes are muddy attachment and hatefulness. The middle path is love and compassion. Look at everything with equanimity; you will see that everything is perfect. The neutral way is the way of love and compassion. Hate no one; do not get attached to anyone. How many of us even try to perceive that there is a universe out there, not just my little home? How many of us gaze beyond our four walls? And if we don't, have we not made them a prison? We get used to certain patterns and begin to feel that those give us happiness. The answer is to raise your consciousness. Be brave to expand beyond narrow-mindedness and willfulness. Openness is much needed in the world, not being glued to four walls or to loving only four people.Combine these things: love and compassion for all, humility, remembrance of the Lord, and doing your duties and see the results. But do not forget one thing amidst all the sermons. There is only one golden reality: You are the Light. Meditate upon that. It will relieve you of all ills. Wherever you are, Light is there. Realize it.
This Satsang was given by Swami Amar Jyoti in February, 1981 during the MEDITATE ON LIGHT RETREAT at Desert Ashram in Tucson, Arizona. It was published in Light of Consciousness Magazine Vol. 17#3, Winter 2005.Over 700 Satsangs in MP3 and CD formats are available on all aspects of the Spiritual Path at TruthConsciousness.org.
